Re: Isuzu @ Auto Expo 2016 (including the D-Max V-Cross)

We have paid the Isuzu Dealer in our region with an advance for booking of the truck. Will the base commercial double cab version be sold under 10 L? Dad was planning to go for this instead of the Space Cab.

Is it going to be available as one variant in private registered category. Any idea from when they are planning to take bookings.

I am considering this vehicle for my next upgrade. Eagerly waiting for the test-drive in Bengaluru.
As Hondaism has mentioned above, the dealers have started accepting bookings. The Pune dealer is yet to start bookings though but the SA mentioned the booking amount will be to the tune of 1 lakh.

Only one variant in private registration category as of now. The SA did not specify any particular launch date, but he mentioned that the prices will be announced by end of April or first week of May.

Re: Isuzu @ Auto Expo 2016 (including the D-Max V-Cross)

I contacted Trident ISUZU Bangalore. The sales executive mentioned that they have completed the training, they will be receiving display vehicle sometime next month. As everyone is saying, there will be one v-cross variant and price will be decided on 28th of this month.

Thanks Jeep girl. The rear door looks weird. How was the rear seat comfort for longer period of time?

I really wish the interiors was black.

This is what the Bangalore dealer told me as well.

I hope that they soon will announce a "AT" option as well for the 4x4 - may be too much to wish for.

I have used Isuzu Trooper for over 10 years and will any day stand by its reliability and durability. Wishing for an AT only when I look at the daily grind of Bangalore traffic and nothing else.

The verity/amount of "add ons" available for this vehicle in places like Thailand and neighboring countries is really unbelievable (and that too with relatively low price tags) and I am sure its only matter of time that this becomes a modifier's darling in India too.

Best Regards & Drive Safe

Ram

Isuzu commissions new vehicle factory in Sri City, AP.

The new production unit, which was inaugurated by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, has come up on a 107-acre site at Sri City, a multi-product SEZ located 60 km to the north of Chennai.

Trust me, the absence of automatic and the lack of reviews about how Isuzu service stations and parts availability is what is keeping me from going with ahead with Dmax. Not to mention the higher powered versions available in outside countries with a 6 speed manual. If all this is taken care of, it can start a new market trend. As reliable as a Fortuner, as good looking as one too, with prices which are almost half of it. Amazing combo.

Isuzu @ Auto Expo 2016 (including the D-Max V-Cross)

Got to know of the unofficial price for the vcross - 12.49 lakhs ex-Chennai. At this price point, the product will sell in respectable numbers. Well done Isuzu India.

I think, this is a good price . When are they going to officially announce?

I also heard there is no tax in AP.

Looking at the earlier photos, looks like they are cutting cost by providing bare vehicle (no music system, etc)

Isuzu is known to do that at least in UAE. Here their dealer used to offer Isuzu Trooper Standard without and audio system on other frills like side step panel, additional floor mats, spare tyre cover etc., thus keeping it the cheapest 4x4 in the 7 seat segment.

May be they have this as a strategy world over

I am hoping they will throw in a AT option as well.

Best Regards & Drive safely

The on road price in Bangalore will be Approx 15.5 Lakhs. The Isuzu dealership in Bangalore, Trident Isuzu is currently taking bookings for the V-Cross. The demo vehicle is expected to reach Bangalore early next week. July end is expected date of delivery of the vehicle.
