Here are couple of photos I took with my Canon Powershot A95

This is Pontiac GT V6 I had rented, was a brand new car with just 10 miles on odo. More ever it was just introduced back then in September 2005. I have taken this picture while returning from North Rim of Grand Canyon to Phoenix, Arizona.

This one is a huge truck taken by me using same camera in December 2004. This trucks sheer presence, cleanliness and beauty attracted me while I got into one of the rest areas present on I-5 in California.

Steer's Jaguar. Only if he had taken this shot with his Nikon and RAW..

A small transformation here. Roughly, what we do for car shots..well, by and large.

Baas

Very nice but the car looks a bit too metallic! Perhaps the reflections on the side could be a shade less glossy?

I wish my wheels looked like the ones in your pic, though! Bloody brakedust.

Picture was taken with a Nikon (D50, not D300) but in JPEG as you obviously know.

Sweety, I need an original RAW shot to do what all you're asking for.

I will go back to the same location this weekend and shoot it in raw with the D300.

Rudra, we all seriously need some tips on such a change, specifically the environment behind the car and the car itself. What do you use, what filters, plugins?

Rudra sir,

this transformation has your touch. Just a constructive note, the portion of the sand and the sky seen through the Front windscreen also need to be darkened to match the darkened sky and sand.

Like Stratos asked, what were the functions you used? Want to try it out.

Signed,
PS virgin

Rudra ji,
IMO, your effort on Steer's Jag doesnt live up to the high standards which you have always maintained. Some of the selections along the car are not straight, and also the light from the car's windows need to be taken care of. How about tinting them to make it easier? The windshield could do with a tint.
