@Torqueguru: That's a nice shot. Were you lying down...or did you use any Live View feature?

@Stratos: Good PP there.

@Samurai, IIRC you have 14-54 and 50-200 Zuikos which are both 67mm dia.....unless you have other lenses.
I maybe wrong.

Sharath, go for Cokin adapter and their filter 77mm. You need to have step down rings also.

Can anyone recommend a 58mm polarizer filter for Canon S3 IS, should not be very expensive.

You are right, but I also have a 50mm which I often use. Dreaming about the 12-60mm which has bigger diameter, but the price is scary.

Rudra, we had talked about this during my last US visit, I finally didn't go for it.

A good quality 67mm polarizer can be had for 40$ approx.
I think with your current lens collection, its a good buy because the 14-54 lens is your primary landscape lens.

Ok, I tried working on my previously posted image myself on photoshop.

This is the first time I've attempted heavy editing of any pic, and I do not know how to use layer masks and other advanced methods. I just tried something using what little I know.

Can experts please help me out with tips?

And any tips for the other pics I have posted will also be appreciated.

That photograph (1st one) of the Amby is very nice. Probably Rudra Sir is the only person in the world who can even make a Amby look so lovely. Hats off.
BTW lovely photographs of Cars in this thread, getting lots of ideas to shoot a car(but first I may need to get a red or a black car )

Lovely pictures of the amby. if the tree and stone weren't there in the second pic, it would have been even more awesome.

Islero - the cropping of that image seems just a little strange to me.

Oldmodel - thats a great angle, but the background just kills it. If youre going to post on this thread try to take a little time to set up your shot instead of posting a "snapshot" - it will make a big difference.

Stratos - Nice pic. Its always nice when you can play the DOF card on a P&S camera.

Hellcat - SUPER!! Love the shot and the PP too. Just might be a touch too dark in some areas.
(...and why is the picture named "R1" ???)
