Wow, that dude makes it look easy. It would take some time getting to know the tricks. I'm guessing without a touch screen or pen compatible device it ain't possible.
I've got some 100+ sketches that I've done in 2d and in perspective. Allthough in perspective things go a bit out of of proportion. But then looking at the video by skew or distorting the image in photoshop I'm sure it can be rectified easily. Lets see now in my free time what I can come with.

Re: Photoshop/Digital Art thread

Damn i didn't saw this thread before i need help from Photoshop guys.

I guess Figo does have the potential to make it a look alike of the super cute Mini cooper. I'am not a photoshop expert but with the MS paint i got this (sorry for the crap work). I grab the Figo picture from Shuvc's figo ownership thread, hope he dont mind.
If we could get a side skirt's ala Mini and a contrast roof line make Figo a hot looking hatch.

Can someone try to do this in photoshop

Re: Photoshop/Digital Art thread

That Mini inspired Figo looks really good.

Those black alloys complete the look. Should get it done in reality.

Nicely done. What procedure did you use to make the car black?

Some of the parts are one off. The seat, exhaust, mud guards, mirrors, lamps etc are edited for shape.

I haven't added a b/g cause I want the changes to be noticeable.

Lemme know what you think Suggestions are always welcome!

Wow, I am just checking out this thread. This concept looks awesome. Might be much more nicer to ride IMHO

Unlike the big majority, I am not a big fan of chrome. Here is my attempt of de-chrome-ing the Indigo CS.

Hey Rehaan!
Sir, following is the process I used in PS:
1. Image> Adjustments> Replace Color..
2. When the 'Replace Color' window pops up, click on the darkest spot of the small scale picture which will make that spot and its corresponding spots the brightest and the rest of it dark. You'll have to adjust it according to how black you want your car to be. Click OK.
3. When the image has become dark and black, zoom it up to lets say 600-700% (as in my case) and start applying the History Brush on the areas other than the areas you want to keep black.
4. Lastly you can make little brightness and contrast changes to give it a natural look.

A nice time pass it is, making of the history is the toughest part

Well I am attaching some more pics of my cars. Had used the same trick. M800 didn't came out well. Still working on it.

Re: Photoshop/Digital Art thread

I had made this one way back in 2007 using Macromedia Flash. That was the time when I had no idea how to use Photoshop and flash seemed to be an easier option.

Various lines drawn (traced over original layer) and the filled with gradient colours.
