A tack sharp image from my Minolta 50mm.

A couple of shots of a leopard from Hyderabad Zoo.
Shot from a distance with a Tamaron 300mm
Couple of shots of my daughter and her friend. From Minolta 50mm again. Love the output it produces when shot against light.

Some recent shots of my four month old kiddo --

After sunset. Peacocks roosting for the night. Cold breeze, distant alarm calls.
A kite shot while experimenting with back button focusing.
A young tiger in Tadoba National Park
More experimenting with back button focus (capturing action shots).

They din't wait for me to get the tripod out. Lucky I had something to stabilize my hands on.
PS: Vignette effect added.
Hi
This is the first time ever I am posting in the pictures thread. I only recently got interested. Posting some random snaps. I like shooting, period.
Would appreciate feedback from members here.
Thanks :thumbs up
Unfortunately most of the files were way larger than 1 MB hence did not load. Will try to post some that are smaller..
Some others that are under 1 MB

You can resize the file and save with lower resolution to post here. 1 MB is a good file size for any image.
To define Azure

Which place is this?

@brraj
This is the Kaas lake. Its about 40km from Satara.
People only talk of Kaas only during the flowering season. I went during the barren one; and was pleasantly stunned to witness brilliant landscapes.
Few pictures that I like. All were taken in available, natural light.
To all gurus' here, what will make it better/how to improve? Taken with a P&S camera and some level correction & crop in PS. All c&c welcome. Thanks.
P.S.- Gotcha!! Resolution changed after uploading. :Frustrati
Thank you for the tests R2D2. Also, confirms the color differences I was finding between the 45mm and 75mm lenses. I am definitely saving up for the 75mm, it's a winner for sure.
Anyway, here's quoting myself

Ah, thanks buddy :). I have a long way to go, first would be to get a shot worthy of the HCSP pool. |
And I am glad to say that one of my shot made it to the highly curated HSCP pool here:

It was quite a pleasant surprise...here's the photograph that made it:
