The 8 day story of Bulbul's nestled in a potted plant in my penthouse balcony in pics.
Possibly this could be the last of the series as they might take flight by today or tomorrow. All through the documentation they were opening their mouth for food but today they instinctively keeping low, this is genetic knowledge which is very vital for survival.
All through I have taken extreme care as not to disturb them or their parents and not to interfere in the ways of nature, There are many hawks here...maybe one or both may not survive after their maiden flight, but then One must die for the other to live, the law of nature!

did you zoom the lens while taking the shot? How did you manage this one?

No, I didn not use zoom. In fact I used the very old, 28 mm fixed focal length f 2 manual focus lens. I managed the shot by setting up the tripod on a couple of rocks, right in the middle of the stream. My friend has a picture of me taking this shot. Will post is soon.

Why are the trails wavy? You were shooting towards the east or west?

well i have no clue, I focussed on what I thought was the pole star...but looks like i was wrong.

I see the moon (rising or setting) on the horizon. If its setting, you shot towards the south instead of the north

if u r talking of the overexposed part on the right, thats a house or something

Oh, ok. but looking at the shot, I definitely feel you aimed south instead of north. Next time, carry a compass :)

If you do not have compass, Look for the Great Bear(Ursa Major).
THE GREAT BEAR
No matter what time of the year, it always points to the pole star.
If you want to take up star photography, its very important to learn basic astronomy.
For example, Jupiter is usually much brighter than other stars, how to capture the setting venus etc., etc.,
