TG,

I like the first shot. Nice!

Does he have to when he has the D3s with it's amazing ISO capabilities? ;)

Well even with high ISO capability you can shoot at lower ISO and slower shutter speed to get some "creative effects"

@TSK
I completely agree!

I use Noiseware, the output is really good. I don't process the whole picture with it, instead I make a copy of the image, get the NR done by Noiseware, paste it as a new layer on top pf the original image in PS and make an appropriate layer mask to remove noise from darker areas or where it is required without touching the finer image details. For example, in a beach shot, removing noise from the sand won't be required and it will make it look bad, so I can exclude that part. on the other hand, removing noise from the sky would be a good idea.

Something I caaptured today. Quite a normal picture. Just thought of sharing. :)

@TG: Lovely shots there, though first one has some noise but still the shot is good.

Though flashes can be pretty useful, but photos clicked with flash fail to capture the real essence of the moment. That pub picture could have looked entirely different if you would have used the flash.

nice one shamik!

By the way, I met Mr Fly again today!
And he said Hi to all of you!

I agree, but I was refering to this particular picture as the blur was due to out of focus areas than due to motion. Also, there is a slightly blur (the back of the head), so the shutter speed must have been low. And yes, if you're the adventurous type you can always try this (the commercial in the link) with a gorillapod, I'd never EVER try this unless someone pays me for the camera or is ready with a replacement. Check out the link ;).

We PP pictures just by looking at them, thinking that our eyes won't deceive us much! Thought of sharing this optical illusion here.

The rectangles marked A and B are having the exact same color.

It was difficult to believe just by looking at them, so I did a color sampling:

Clever, Is it the square or the letters are having the same color?

Two pics I took today. Did not get what I wanted, but here it goes. Do comment. This is after 4 months into Photography. I love macro pics :D

Sumit, those are nice shots. IMO you just need to be bit more steady when working with macro shots. The second pic lacks the sharpness it deserves. I'm no pro here, just my 2 cents. :)
