Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

Thar4x4, a larger aperture or higher shutter speed would solve that issue.
Lately I am seeing a lot of images here out of focus or hazed, is it the trend or something ?

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

Thar, its a comment on many 'out of focus' images. Based on one image, I would not ask if its a latest trend

It may not belong to this page, but I found the patterns good to me after editing a lousy tree image. As far as I understand, it could be an abstract !

The best judge for abstracts is yet to see your image. Be on your guard, he will tell you if it qualifies to be called one . Samurai where art thou ?

Hi All,

Lotz of good images there. Due to the work and family commitments, I couldnt play around on the cam for long time. Here is one from a casual click on weekend.

Just thought I would clarify on this misconception. A tripod is not an insurance against blurry night shots. For sharpness in night shots you need a tripod and a remote shutter release.

Nope, you don't. The Camera self timer will do. Just press the shutter, and leave the camera, and after 10 seconds the cam will take the picture. No chance of shake.

To add to tsk1979, DSLR users can use mirror lock function to further reduce the slightest vibration too.

Go get a DSLR dude, my cousin bought one for 12k last week (400D, 18-55 kit), so budget is not the issue here, its about the determination to get into this beautiful hobby ! Start with a used one, upgrade later when you find the need.

Less images and more discussions !!! Am I in the DSLR thread or Image thread
