Awesome Shot, Great Timing. This shot is a keeper (maybe crop the left side a little to remove distractions)

Lovely frames there, sorry not mentioning it in my previous post.

140mm, ISO-400, who said you need a wide angle lens to shoot such images ?

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

True, there was no time to change the aperture, so it happened to be at f/5.6 as I was shooting birds. If given a chance, I would prefer it to be at f/16. Coming next f/16

You're being very modest Shajufx. In fact compared with you all, I am a rank beginner though I started handling cameras at a very early age (6 years). I took a long sabbatical once I entered college and picked it up again in the 90s. Primary reason was cost of cameras and lenses. I had to wait many years before I could afford a (film) SLR.

I am truly inspired by nearly all of you posting on this thread and the DSLR thread, amateur and pro photographers alike. Folks like Rudra Sen are outa this world.

Cheers!

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

Though I had not shared my clicks during the past few months, I have been closely following this thread. I've to admit that I'm speechless after seeing some images uploaded here. Keep up the good work.

Yesterday, we bought a sparingly used Sony DSC H50. Thanks to my dad.

Thought of sharing some pics that I clicked today. Criticism welcome.

Colorful shot. But, the flowers on the top right corner looks over saturated to my eyes (?)

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

Klub_CLass - Any particular reason (in the second pic) to leave so much of empty space on the right side? Amazing pics though. Good to know there is a photography class room here. Now I am glued to this thread.
