@Torqueguru, thats a nice shot of eagles, but not crisp like other shots.
Which lens have u been using?

@Shaju- Very nice compositions and I really liked the BW treatment to your shots. No overworking is me liked :-) ..

Here is one I took while passing time on terrace.

Fazal I loved the second one, would prefer a cropping to avoid too much of sky. Do you use tripod ? If you dont, use one, keep on ISO-100 for a longer exposure, you will get a perfect sharp image without a single grain.

Thanks. That bird makes a whole meaning to the shot. If thats your terrace view, I dont mind sleeping there as a nomad for few days ! Where are the shots from your D300 ?

@Fazal
Thanks. I think its a peregrine falcon as well, I saw some images of the peregrine and it looks remarkably similar.

@Speed pujari
My Nikon 70-200 with a 2x tele converter is what I normally shoot with. Unfortunately it is having issues with autofocus, so sent it back to Nikon to repair. In the mean time I am checking out the Sigma 150-500, much inferior glass. But good price to performance ratio.

Regards,
TG.

Great composition.

@Robimahanta: Nice one, the first pic...the foreground is a bit distracting though.

@Mukul: You've got beautiful shots with good detail of the eagle's structure..

@Fazalaliadil: I liked the pic of that pigeon. Btw, the silhouette shots looks awesome too.

Nice clicks. Personally, I liked the first picture. Love those 'floating clouds'.

Beautiful shot. I wish the colors were a little under-saturated. Nice clouds btw.

There is a narrow path through a slum area (through mud and slush) close to Elliots beach. Its not known to many because of having no easy access to it. Comes as back side of theosophical society. Once you reach closer, locals should be able to guide you. Sunrise is very beautiful there, but we missed it due to clouds.

All you need in life is Air, Water and a 5 feet space !

:-) . Thanks buddy. Yup those are using the D300 with a 50mm f/1.8. I was trying to learn the 51 points 3D tracking. The focus tracking is amazing in that mode. I did not focus on the bird, just burst in 6 fps and all the shots were crisp with the bird in focus. May not work in case of clutterred environment.

I believe u stick to the nikkor. I have once tried the sigma 50-500 on a canon 1D. Well the quality of shots were due to the full frame. The same lens performed pathetic on a 400D. beyond say 350mm it is quite unusable.
I was also planning to get the 70-200 VR with a 1.7x tele. Let us know your experience with the lens.

Shaju wassup with the post processing buddy?? seems you have overshapened after cropping the image. Or some issue with BW channels?

You are right but its not cropped, only resized ! Its the oldest street in Chennai, many buildings done by the British and my complete street set is going in B&W. Trying everything I know to make the shots look OLD . And forgive me, my experiments are self-learning steps, some of them are horribly gone wrong, some are just decent enough.

I promise I will improve.
