Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

If I recall, didn't you buy this Tamron online some months back?

Basically I wanted to upgrade my 350D.
I checked out the 60D and 7D, and really liked the 7D. But 7D was very expensive. So in my search for a weather sealed body, I ended up with a D7000.
Only drawback? I have a Tamron 10-24 UWA lens which I need to get rid off. If I had stayed with canon I could have retailed this lens.
Anyways, I am happy with the lenses I got (16-85) and 70-300 VR, hope to try it out on the next trip!

Riju, there is some problem with your color gamut it seems. The Blue sky is looking very different color then it should be.

Pramod

Have you two noticed that you both have shot the same scenary at the same time from the same place? Or you two went for a trip together? And both the shots are similarly exposed too, i.e. need to dial in another stop of exposure.

Yes we went on this trip together, What you see is just one of the various exposures we took. This shot was shot at this exposure purposefully to get the right hue of the evening sky, the compression has really killed this image see the better one here

Yes, April 2010. I think I overestimated its resale potential!

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

rjstyles, love the pictures of the bay.
blue_pulsar: Great pictures. I think you and tsk (and ajay) are required to do a review. There are very few D7000 owners on the forum. Would love a review of the 60D as well.
