RIOT OF COLOURS: Would be an apt title for this photograph.

The B/W image is the full frame,pp'd with Nik Silver Efex 2 and the color version is a tight crop showing the level of detail even after cropping.
Wow! Another wild expedition? Good catch

Nice catch of the Heron. My experience says it would be even more sharp on your lappy. Sometimes I feel so sad when the life of eyes are lost while compressing and uploading .

May be a different mood! Please share your feedbacks, I tried some PS editing since the background was way too bright spoiling the beauty of the subject. May be a metering issue?

Oh yes, it was quite sharp given the ISO levels (1600) I used. At one point I was contemplating on getting my old beercan (70-210mm, with loads of fungus inside) replaced but I guess it is not that time yet.

Another one of the same subject with same exif. These are taken through a metal mesh but that's not visible at all because I held the lens almost touching the mesh with an open aperture. The mesh pattern which is visible in the bokeh is actually of the other side of the cage.

And one more from the same place

If the background was really bright, you could try recomposing the shot from a different angle so as to get a more pleasing background.... The editing done in this picture can be seen when you look at the edges of her body...

I like this first one.

No heavy processing, just auto tones in PS.

A long exposure. Was a few minutes exposure. It was cloudy, and the moon was strong, but decided to shoot anyways

Thanks Clever. I think you are referring to the halo around the girl. Let me tweak some more, shall post the edited one shortly. May be a good pic to learn processing?

Lake shot is really soothing. Loved the natural green.

Excellent! The redness in the foreground must be the tail lights which to me is slightly distracting in the overall beauty of the image. The moonlight is almost as good as daylight. Pls share the exif of this image. I want to try a similar one too. (Till now all my nightscape shots are just rubbish)

thanks for your comments.
This shot was at F3.5, ISO 200 around 150 seconds of exposure.
the red lights (tail lights) was deliberate, I was experimenting with light painting
