Sometimes you get lucky and dont need a super telephoto.
Super lucky. I never get lucky

Gerbera Daisy Flower Shot by me today at my home

Equipment: Canon EOS 1100D, Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro Lens @ 100mm. Tripod and Camera at level of the flower , f16 @ aperture priority, 0 exposure bias, ISO 100, WB - Daylight , Shutter time mostly 30 seconds

C&C are most welcome

A different Perspect of a Flower. Why do people always shoot the front?

How did you manage to keep the flower unmoving for 30 seconds?

The same reason why we shoot the face and not the back of the head.

Nice close ups, keep experimenting. Any plans to shoot macros since you have a macro lens?

I feel most of us forget composition while trying to get basic things right each time when we try to shoot something not static... We can get interesting shots if we think about the framing rather than exposure, aperture and ISO alone!

Same question - how do you get the flower frozen for 30 seconds?

Was re-stringing my Ibanez and I thought I'd take a few shots of it with the Marshall.

Used a iPhone 4 and PhotoForge2 for the B&W effect.

The guy on Fb copied mine
It is natural bokeh from the 50mm @f/1.7, but I stacked 5 shots to bring the name HTC under focus.
