Thats amazing for a P&S. Frankly I've never been able to get these kind of classy pics with either my P&S or D90, I guess its in the blood than the camera.

Good one

Some shots I took on a lazy Saturday evening. The light and ambience caught my fancy and I arranged these coins on the dining table.

Ok so here goes the street photography shots as you have requested!

These are images shot on a Nikon F3, with a 50mm f 1.2 Manual focus lens, on 35mm film, mostly fujifilm Velvia 100 for the color shots and Kodak Tri-X for the black n white ones. It felt great to pick up a few rolls of film and go into the streets of LA! And I have to say, the satisfaction level of shooting film is something quite different, especially when u see that developed film, days after you had shot it!

TG, those are some really great shots. I read in an earlier post that you took these on a workshop, is that true ? What was this workshop about ?

Those spirals and marks that we see on the photos, is it because of the film not being in the top condition ? I am just guessing, no idea about the differences between digital and film shooting. Hope my questions are not too stupid.

Re: The Official non-auto Image thread

TG,
Thank you so much . Love them all, the feel of film comes through and I know the exciting phase of waiting for film to get developed. Is Tri-X still available? I have one roll loaded on my camera and must have around 20 more exposures to go. I should probably get some rolls and keep them around. I haven't tried any color film yet, may be velvia would be a nice one to start off with.

TG, superb pictures. I really love photos on the film as they have a certain charm which the digital ones miss. I have an F80 which I still keep, just for this reason.
