Guys what would you recommend between Rs.40-50,000? And where should I buy it in Mumbai/Thane? Is it advisable to go try it before buying?
On a side note, is Afton a good brand?

Afton is a good brand. Their Sole and Fuel treadmills are nice and sturdy.
You can get a nice bargain on the previous year models. But they usually quote high prices so be ready to bargain. Whatever they quote, start bargaining with 60-70% of the quoted value.
May sound ridiculous, but i did get nearly 15,000 off when i purchased a treadmill last year.

Thanks for the tip. I thought Sole was a brand by itself though?

Yes, Sole and Fuel are brands made by the same Manufacturer. And Afton Fitness, in addition to their treadmills, are dealers for those brands in India.
The cheapest Sole I can find online is the
Sole F 63 for Rs.83,000.
What should I try to get it for offline after negotiating? Any chances of getting it for about 60,000?

I got the same last year for around 65k. Since 2014 model might have come now, you can definitely go and bargain for a better deal.
Tell the dealer, that your friend got it in another state for a lesser price and ask him to offer a better quote. Check with 3-4 dealers.

I visited a local sports goods shop and finalized this one.
Against the sticker price shown in the link, the store had already marked down the price and after a little bargaining they also gave another 15% discount, so the final price will be just south of 17k.

Humour aside, I have had Afton for more than 8 years. Very reliable. Decent service.
GO for one with an option to change the inclination too. Check that the display has all the options you need - mine did not have a 'pace' indication.

Have checked out multiple stores in Delhi/Gurgaon, but have not been able to zero in on a single product. The budget is around 20-30k
Have checked out brands like Fitking, Viva Fitness, Fit Line, Joggers Park etc.
Important to have a good stride length and stable/sturdy frame.
I recently tried using a metal wheel orbitrac but was thoroughly disappointed with the quality of the equipment, thus returned it.

Hi, Does anyone uses the below treadmill?
LifeSpan TR 1200i Folding Treadmill
I am suffering from cervical and lumbar disc issues and have to start walking/jogging. Unfortunately my surroundings are not good to do it outside. This treadmill seems to have very good shock absorbing capability. Is this a good choice? or is there a better alternative? Please advise. I can spend up to 1L as this will be regularly used by me and my wife.

Can someone confirm if dc motorised treadmill can run non stop for 1 hr. I keep hearing mixed reactions from vendors. I have shortlisted following models: Lifespan tr4000i, true m50. Anyone having experience with these brands and models in India?
Hey, not sure if this is the right place to look for this. But does anyone on here happen to know of a reliable company from which to source an AC motor treadmill for home use. I say AC motor because DC motors cannot reliably be run for more than an hour nonstop I've been told.
I had a Bremshey Path DC motor 2.5 hp, that kept burning out over years of use. Am finally in the market for a new treadmill, but I can't seem to find a good brand that is reliable and sub 70,000 Rupees.
Any info would be helpful, location being Bombay.
