@BaCkSeAtDrIVeR

Thanks for the detailed reply, as per your suggestion i will be visiting decathlon.

Though no demo, two local dealers have quoted 85k for Reebok zjet 460, are reebok treadmills sold in india just renamed chineese models? Any idea?

I am thinking of buying a treadmill from my neighbor - Decathalon Domyos Run pro. How reliable is this brand and if the service coverage is good enough.

I searched for a treadmill with good running platform (belt width) width. At least 19inches and supports 100kg weight. I get an offer of Rs57000 for Viva T-752 2hp AC treadmill. Thinking of going for this machine. Any reviews about Viva brand? How good is it.

Need suggestion for a Home Gym Setup. Any pointers to the brand & type of equipment one should invest in?

Depends on your fitness goals and what your current level of fitness is. I'm guessing square foot area is not a constraint for you so the first two points are key to get you started.

I've been using this very same treadmill for about 9 months now. Seems sturdy with no issues till now. Has a wide and long track. Viva has a good service here in gurgaon and their recommended service schedule is 4 times a year. Would surely recommend the brand.

Thanks for the feedback. I bought this model (T-752) a week back and it's going good except for a faulty speaker which they have taken back to get replaced. Hope it serves well.

In search of a treadmill and found this particular one with a decent pricing and specifications. Do let know if anyone has any comments on this. Is this a good brand and VFM? (Please excuse my little knowledge in this area)

And also, is buying online a wiser option? Any others suggestions also welcome.

Hi! How is your treadmill holding up? I'm also looking at buying one and this model caught my attention. Any suggestions?

Hi. It's actually doing good and being used almost everyday since the lockdown. I think you may check it out.

Thanks! May I ask, how much did it cost you?

It is going good. But, I should say there is some problems with the horizontal block (multiwood?) which is just below the end of the treadmill belt causing friction. They replaced it once. Still, the problem exists, if you walk or run and goes a little backwards. But, may be a non-issue.

What do people here think about these walking platforms (or folding treadmills, as some call them)? I want a simple device for regular walks - cannot go out due to Covid. These are pretty cheap too - in the range of 20-25K. Are these reliable? Are they as portable as they claim?

I had an Afton basic treadmill, but that has its board fried, and I don't want to bring in a technician inside the home to fix it, as we are trying to keep Covid at bay. Also it is more than a decade old, so it has to be replaced someday.
