I guess One Plus realised its stupidity of withholding phones and now almost everybody has an invite. I as a matter of fact got 2 in 2 days. OP2 is just not as enticing as its predecessor. The market has changed since then, and better and more competent phones such as the Moto X and Nexus 5X have given the OP2 a tough job. Additionally, phones from Chinese manufacturers have just redefined the prices.

I completely agree with you. I had mentioned it earlier and I am again re-iterating here, OPT must be a failure, when compared to OPO. One of the main reason could be 'Oxygen OS' when compared to CM in OPO.

'Never rest on your past laurels' - This must be a message to OP. They thought this invite system which worked so well to market their product during OPO will work for OPT as well. But, market has moved on and customers are becoming smart. Their pricing is still good i believe, just that they need to bring in something new to their product.

Also, as someone mentioned in one of the posts, we all should post the invite codes here for the general public. I don't think team-bhpians are consuming all these invites, so why not allow the general public to use it?
