Yes. It can be used now without intervention from your side.
For everyone else also.
Please claim the invite on the oneplus website first, and then post the codes here. Amazon only checks whether the invite is active or not. It is activated when claimed using the oneplus account it was intended for. This works for India specific invites only.
After claiming, any person can use the invite code on amazon india

I don't understand this invite thing. Cant they manufacture enough phones so that everyone can buy?. After all, this is not a big item like car where there will be some production constraints. :-) . This could well be a marketing gimmick to create some hype and demand.

You're absolutely right Adithya. This creates a word of mouth and it also gives a bit of 'exclusivity' to the people who own it. So it's a marketing strategy after all. 😊
