Planning to upgrade from 17" CRT to 19/21" LCD.
The main usage is NFS (Need for Speed) gaming.
Should I change to LCD or stick to CRT because of the slower LCD reaction time?
Appreciate feedback from the TBHP gang.

Fuelled, go for a ViewSonic. Nothing comes even close to it in displays.

I think 4 ms is good enough for NFS........

Ya view sonic are make good monitors .......cost has to be checked...

LBM, the samsung.co.in has a model 940B without the W. and the response time is 8ms. where did you get the 940BW ? is it grey ?

I got the 940BW with B&W for 15.5k no grey maal yaar.....

Nothing can beat Viewsonic!!! It costs somewhere around 14-15k for 19".
Planning to get it this week.as soon as i get it , i shall review it!!!!

Man I have a 940BW not 940B u can check out samsung.com not samsung.co.in.....

dude I use viewsonic 19 " LCD with DVI ( Digital video input ) its crystal clear and is awesome!!

940BW may be wide screen one and 940B normal screen,just my guess though.
Recently i saw Acer ad of 19" LCD with price tag of around 15k.

There is also a DVI interface if u have DVI in ur Display card.....

do these samsung's have other connections too ? like composite/s-video/component... in case u want to connect the dvd player directly...
