In my opinion, sony p990i is one of the best choice.. It has all the important features required.

Don't know whether this model is outdated. I'm still using one.
your ID seems to be very apt

N82 has both (camera cover and 128MG RAM) and has very good auto focus. I am saying good flash and good auto focus keeping the context of a P&S camera in mind.

Dream phone .
For me its all about robust build quality , sleek looks , good battery life , compact size .
For the same i just sold my E50 and got myself an E51 . I feel its a great phone and more over their pricing seems very reasonable taking into account its connectivity features .

It comes boxed with a screen protector AND a soft pouch. No problem whatsoever with car keys and coins in the pocket.

Ahhhh... Finally the chance to switch to Sony Erricson without having to get rid of Window Mobile. Ok.. I am dreaming about the Sony Erricson Xperia X1 already. So I guess its my dream phone for now .

PS: I guess I am addicted to WM phones. I started off with the stupid Orange SPV then moved on to SPV E200->Imate Jam->O2 Atom->HTC Touch.

SE first said the Experia would be out by Q2 2008. Now they're saying the Experia might be delayed as far as October 2008.

I hope the Experia is not going the way of the P990i (as far as release dates are concerned). It does seem to be too good a device (on paper at least) to be wasted to death in drawn-out development time.

6310i or MotoRAZR 2

I find that my thinking on this is on the same lines as that of Ishan and Samurai.

I have always loved the 6310i. It had great battery life, all the features i realistically needed, and most importantly, it had great signal strength. My phone would always have some signal even in the remotest locations while my friends' new fangled phones would be out of network coverage. I also found that it fit very comfortably in your palm to both, speak and type (even too small gets inconvenient).

If i had to get a new phone i would go along with Samurai's thinking. I have always wanted a slim, light, clamshell phone that's easy to carry unobtrusively (and looks cool ). However i have found that of all the phones currently available that fit the above criteria most don't have all the new features. That would mean i'll have to give up on some swell new features, which i can't bring myself to do.

I currently use an O2 mini which was gifted to me by my friend. Initially i found it quite annoying to use as it doesn't have a keypad and you have to use the touch-screen for everything, which with my fat fingers, can get quite tiresome. I've managed to get used to that now but what i can't seem to get used to is the bulk and the weight. I'm forced to wear it on a belt case and i don't particularly like that.

Hey Samurai, whaddya think of the MotoRAZR 2 ??
Guys, if anyone's using the RAZR 2 i'd like some feedback and your opinion ?

Ok tanks !!

I moved over to HTC Touch, it is small enough to slip into my pocket and even live together with my car keys. And it hardly has any buttons, so no fear of wrong button presses.

I see 3 good phones on the horizon
1. SE G900
2. Samsung U900
3. LG K750
5 Meg camera with flash, numeric keypad for single hand operation incl. SMS, touch screen, and compact/slim enough to slip into the front pocket of your jeans.
