Laptops or Desktops normally have s-video out.the following outputs are possible for

4pin s-video out
S-video-4 pin connetor
RCA- S-Video to RCA convertor

7pin s-video/component out(HDTV compatible cards eg:Geforce 7xxx )
S-video- 4 pin connetor
RCA- S-Video to RCA convertor
Component- 7 pin connector(Y Pb Pr output)

Audio and video through same cable are only availble in HDMI(High Definition Multimedia Interface)
Hi,

I have the GeForce Go 7400 card in my laptop. I am not able to connect it to my non-HD CRT TV using the 7-pin S-Video to RCA (composite) cable.
