Its a 130MB update to version 2.43, thankfully I'm getting speeds of 150kb/s whew! will update and let you know. Thanks again, mate.

I think he means GTA4 (grand theft auto) and if you have played any of the gta games, you will know why they maybe banned in a country india, where theres jokers ready to imitate such games in real life :Frustrati

I think u can order online from playasia and get it delivered!!

Instead of all that. Just download the update on your PC and then transfer it to the PS3 via pen drive.

I've done all my updates this way and it never fails.

Just make sure the folder order is as such

PS3 - UPDATE - and place the downloaded file in the update folder.

Who said GTA4 is banned in India i got the PS3 console with GTA4 bundled along with it from Croma.

there you have it - if they have it bundled with ps3, you can get it as a separate title too :) an addictive game, i must say!

Thanks for that info Akshay. I have placed an order for the G25 for Rs18,600, Cant wait to get my hands on it now. Has anyone built a cockpit/frame for this wheel? Please post some pictures if you have.

Just one thing, your Internet connection/speed has little to do with downloading the update direct to the PS3 or to your PC. The problem is Sony's servers - they are erratic and awfully slow at times.

if not available in stores - get it from playasia.com - they have an option to pay in INR and also do delivery. I have ordered games earlier from them and have had no probs :)

Whoa! 3K? that's expensive. I asked a wholesale store here to source it for me and he gives 15% on the retail price which is around Rs. 2700 or something. So effectively, it will be around 2.3K

all - is it just me or can no one watch the free videos on gt-tv
i can watch the ones which can be directly downloaded - but anything which requires to goto the cart (even if free) elicits a "no items for you" on the cart screen. All the ferrari and top gear etc vids are free but need to be taken to cart and then downloaded (not direct download like the citroen, nissan, evo x vids)

dont touch the lotus evora - its a waste of 100k - my ferrari f430 performs better in the S series races :)

I have a slightly stupid question that im asking on the behalf of a friend.Can the ps3 be connected to a normal 29" crt televison.No hdmi,no jingbang!!

yes - before i got onto the lcd and then plasma bandwagon, I had it on a regular 29" crt using rca cables :)
