I had to dust off my ps3 to play gt5. I'm blown away. I don't know why I didn't just get it on the first day it came out. Start posting laptimes guys.

I had got GT5 on the day it was realeased. Costed approx $70. I wish i had bought a 3d TV though. My samsung plasma is not #D. Howz the 3d gaming experaince on this one??

I'm going to be brave and post my timings so far.

bought the gt5 yesterday, the game is too sick. Found drifting kind of hard. can you lot post your ps3 id.

Guys, is GT5 freely available in India? If not, I'd prefer to buy from the US when i return to India next month. Costs around 55 USD, which seems a trifle costlier than the Rs 2400 in India.

Don't know about other stores but its easily available at Croma stores. I picked up my copy from there when it had released just 3 days back.

Try using a merc C63, i found it kind of easy to control and powerslide with that car.

Wow!! I am impressed I must say!!

I am now motivated to put in more effort for drifting in GT5. Was pretty good in the NFS series. Till now I am busy racing only in GT5.

One question! Are you using the controller to do these drifts or do you have a steering wheel?

WOW i need to get this game, the pics are just jaw dropping.
OT: anyone played NFS Hot Pursuit, how do these two compare.

I just started drifting in last few days, it takes few trys to get used to. I use controller with car setting Sport Hard tyres, TCS off and ABS 1

I have hot pursuit and gt5
NFS is unrealistic, drifting is easy. Damage in NFS is better than GT5
GT5 is more realistic, car control is more real while cornering or drifting

Found drifting hard in this cause mine is tuned to the max.
