Hey Nitroxx,

Congrats on the new phone. How much did you pay for it. Looks really good. Did you have a chance to compare it with the IPhone??

Regards,

compared with the iphone... great haptic feedback and scrolling on the new rom..insane expansion 16GB + 16gb micro sd
a cute lil stylus..
No offense to the I-phone guys..I strictly believe that its for the youth market that's more into the music and style statement era.

Features..I phone?
a) no bluetooth transfer for music files.
b) no video recording out of the box.
c) can't remove the damn battery.(hello some of us like to upgrade for longer use you know).
d) haptic feedback.. so dies omnia
e) camera - omina kills it.
f) internal mem-16GB(I -phone) - Omina 16Gb - Expandable to 16 more!!

g) office files, presentations, business use?(I-phone?) (Omnia- bluetooth support for wireless printing..DLNA support for wireless video streaming to Samsung LCDS).

h) Video player? (I-phone..good) (omnia- DIVX certified, pretty darn good)
i) Aftermarket earphones jack - both have 'em
j) GPS (I-phone) A-GPS(Omnia)
K) Price? omnia ( 2800dhs/-) Iphone ?
L) syncing mails and data...(Iphone?) (omnia- Outlook 2007)

So the real question is I-phone still worth it? And has the I-phone been killed? or completely decimated..?That's for you guys to decide.

  Congratulations for the Omnia bro. Good choice and finally its here so i know how much are you gonna enjoy with it for the wait period you have gone through. And once again a** you manage to overclock it.

Well for my feedback : I have read the specs on certain websites and i have to agree it kills the iphone any time.

For the rom guys, here's the linky for the upgrade..
Samsung Mobile it will take your phone to i900DXHG4 from i900DXHG2.
628MHZ is standard with batt status you can push it to 700mhz it makes things a lil zippier

I agree the Omnia is streets ahead on paper, but actual use of the Omnia doesnt give you the same user-friendly feedback as the iPhone does.

Also, I feel the finish of the Omnia leaves a bit to be desired - it uses terrific materials, but somehow doesnt LOOK (not feel) as well finished as the iPhone.

About the memory - 32GB cards are coming out in April, so you can have 16 (onboard) + 32 (micro sd) = 48GB on your phone soon!

@BP, the damage to my wallet is rs.33600/- (current conversion value)
@steeroid: As far as the absolute finish is concerned I'm pretty happy with the samsung..if it were to be compared to say the HTC. For, user friendly feedback comparison, I agree that the i-phone is a tad bit more finger happy. But then again, possible 48GB on a phone that can handle it with a widescreen display, 5 meg cam and tv out at 700 MHZ? Hmm..I do have use for that much space and power.

Not to mention the White Omnia really is striking to the eye.
Dude I'm also waiting for your HTC touch Pro review.I'm sure thats a monster too.

Got an opportunity to use his Pro at Mullapanthal

Build quality is very good; feels more solid than an iPhone.

Just read your signature. Dude you've like modded everything possible that you electronically have.
So your saying after the rom conversion you can have it run upto 700mhz..??
Doesnt the new htc run normal speeds like those..???
