1. o2 orbit - better sound quality, better camera, built in gps receiver
or
2. o2 atom exec. - faster processor??, flash light, stereo speakers.
i have not heard any of them play music.. how is the volume and the sound clarity in both of them?
heard that there are a lot of problems in the atom series. is it true?
which is a better phone among the two of them?
any help on this front will be highly appreciated. thanks in advance. hdp |
Exec is an outdated model , better get the Htc Tytn II (Kaiser) ,it has tilt screen ,Gps,256rom,3mpcam,2.8screen ,400mhz processor ,qwerty keyboard best Wm 6.0 best device is available in windows .
my budget is a max of 22.5k. how much the kaiser cost?
flame way out of my budget.
now i have 2 main questions...
1. which phone better between atom exec. and orbit?
2. what other options do i have in this budget? (can't inc. my budget)
the main thing is that i am in love with windows based phones. my previous phone was xda mini... and the main purpose this phone will be used is entertainment. so good volume, fm radio, etc necessary. its not gonna be used for business purposes.
Hi friends, pls suggest best BT headset model/s for 6233 with indicative prices if possible.
Thanks a lot!

Nokia has announced a touchscreen interface for Symbian S60! S60 Touch Interface Launched Nokia - ShowPressRelease
Apparently all the current S60 apps will run with the touchscreen interface. It has haptic support also! The new interface will be out in 2008. Hmmm. Waiting for an E90-like device with touchscreen. :)
Other news: Flash will be soon be supported in the S60 Browser.
Hi,
I lost my E61 (had it for about one year, the longest I have managed to keep a phone), and have to buy a new one. Help me out, I have shortlisted the following -
1. HTC Touch (Nice smallish form factor, 2 MP camera, reviews say it's slow).
2. Nokia E61i (I was very happy with my E61, and it has a 2MP camera as well)
3. Nokia N73 (it's not a PDA but have a decent browser and good 3.2 MP camera and is small)
4. Nokia N95 (5 MP camera, too big)
I will be buying a new one today evening, suggest something.

@ntomer, I'd keep it between the HTC Touch, the E61i and the N95.
The N73 becomes slower than molasses in a short while. And it is a pretty old phone now.
Between the first 3, I'd vote for the HTC Touch first (If you're ok with a touchscreen phone), the E61i next and the N95 last. I'd prefer the E61i over the N95 because it is more VFM, and the browsing experience is better with the E61i.

HTC touch it is among the options specified. And IMHO it is not slow as it is made out to be. It is a decent PDA and gives decent performance.
Woohoo. Review of the SE W960 is finally out on gsmarena.com They don't seem very impressed with the finish of the phone and the stylus, but I love the features. Now, if only they'd give an indication of the price. I have a nasty feeling it's going to be close to the 30K mark on launch.
Alright guys a quick one!
Have zeroed in on these two:
a) O2 Orbit = 18.5k
b) HTC Touch = 19k
Which of these? any other in 20k bracket?
Pref: Windows Based
:)

plz have a look at the htc p3300... its the same as o2 orbit but comes in with warranty. i was also in the same boat as u are now.. but went in for the p3300.. benefits of buying the p3300 over orbit are that it comes with htc warranty, car charger, car stand and most importantly wm6 professional..
benefit of buying p3300 ovr touch are that it has radio and the battery life is much better than touch. touch is locked with airtel and on unlocking it the warranty will get void.
p.s. few people tell that they sell the unlocked version with warranty, but if there is any problem with the phone htc won't honour the warranty...
Nokia MicroSD cards seem to cost double that of SanDisk - at Amazon.
Are they worth the high price?
Hey guys
I lost my SE p910i over the weekend.
So, now i am looking for another phone. I wanted a phone with touchscreen (for easy internet browsing) and a number pad at least (for easy dialling). I found that i dont have much choice. Most of the phones that have a touchscreen dont have a numpad, which means its almost impossible (specially on windows based phones) to dial a number with one hand.
Most of the stores i went to showed me the SE P1i, which has both. BUT! The keypad is so calculator-like! Thats the first thing that stood out like a sore thumb there. If only they had a better keypad, i would have considered this phone. But as of now, its not in the list.
One store showed me a phone from a brand i have never heard of. Its FLY SX210. Very feature rich, and at a price less than 10K! Looked around for it on the net but couldnt find much. It has 2MP camera, sliding screen, USB, bluetooth, gprs, sound equalizer, plays and records fm, etc etc.
Anyone has any opinion about this phone?
Also, is there anything else i can look at?
Thanks!
Amitoj
