Apparently all the current S60 apps will run with the touchscreen interface. It has haptic support also! The new interface will be out in 2008. Hmmm. Waiting for an E90-like device with touchscreen.

Other news: Flash will be soon be supported in the S60 Browser.

this is only to take on the share of the iphone for sure. hope they put 7.2 mp camera in this now just like samsung phones. should be fun with 8gb internal plus mirco sd card slot. then again nokia has a winner AGAIN

So, now i am looking for another phone. I wanted a phone with touchscreen (for easy internet browsing) and a number pad at least (for easy dialling). I found that i dont have much choice. Most of the phones that have a touchscreen dont have a numpad, which means its almost impossible (specially on windows based phones) to dial a number with one hand.
Most of the stores i went to showed me the SE P1i, which has both. BUT! The keypad is so calculator-like! Thats the first thing that stood out like a sore thumb there. If only they had a better keypad, i would have considered this phone. But as of now, its not in the list.
One store showed me a phone from a brand i have never heard of. Its FLY SX210. Very feature rich, and at a price less than 10K! Looked around for it on the net but couldnt find much. It has 2MP camera, sliding screen, USB, bluetooth, gprs, sound equalizer, plays and records fm, etc etc.
Anyone has any opinion about this phone?
Also, is there anything else i can look at?

Thanks!
Amitoj
You can have a look at Nokia 6233... a very classy looking phone and now <8000 Rs, makes it ultimate value for money.
How does a 2 megapixel camera, stereo FM radio, MP3 player with equilizer support, 3G, Video recording in VGA resolution, Bluetooth with A2DP support, Dual stereo speakers (it plays sound better than my HP laptop!) sound! Yes for less than 8k's..... beat that!

Problem in N73

Hi,

I recently bought an N73 (last Friday). The phone is fine but I am facing one rather strange problem in it. The phone memory being used it shown as 31MB, and free memory as 14 MB.

But I have absolutely nothing stored in phone memory, everything is stored in Memory Card. Even the memory details show 600KB taken by contacts, and 400KB by messages. So where did rest of the memory go?

Any idea guys?

Thanx Akshay, it might be normal, but won't it limit the size of files I can receive via bluetooth, and also it will slow down the phone. Or I am just being paranoid?

if your worries about bluetooth then save your inbox on your memory card. to go messages-settings-other-save to-memory card.

Guys, need your help. My wife's phone (Nokia 6610) developed a problem all of a sudden - for incoming & outgoing calls, she can hear but the caller at the other end cannot hear her. Any ideas on what it could be? She's going to have it checked out on her way back from work but I thought the experts here may have a ready answer.

Yup, this piece itself is 3 years old but that shouldn't be enough to conk out a mike. Anyway, let's see what the shop has to say. thanks mate

EDIT: update - she reached the shop, showed it to the guys & it started working again! Weird!
