I just installed fring on my E51. Works cool. One limitation is we cannot add contacts directly from the app. Its possible only from the website.
A big thanks to Jaggu and others for giving leads to help. :)
Fring kinda sucks. Agile Messenger and IM+ are way way better for Symbian. Not sure if there's a S60 client. Both work amazingly well in UIQ.
Agile messenger has now become a paid option and hence didnt recommend, used to have it in my ol nokia communicator. At that time it didnt allow voice calls also, dont know if available now.
Okay, this is a seriously innovative entry. The market is crammed to the brim with competitors, so how does Virgin - a new brand - make a splash? They pay you 10 paise for each minute of incoming, thats how!!! Obviously the money is not paid to you in cash, but instead credited to your account and adjusted against your monthly bill.
I love this kind of marketing :
Linky.

I am on Virgin in the UK and they offer a great service (much better than the established players like Orange, Vodafone, T-Mobile). However they have increased their prices quite a bit over the last year or so.
This 10 paise thing sounds good, give your number to a few banks/financial institutions, car dealers etc etc and get lots of credit.
What network are they using in India for their virtual service ?

Its the Tata Teleservices Network
Which one is good?
k550 or k530 or Nokia 5310?
All the three are with 1.2 camera; mp3, FM etc;
only difference is k530 is 3G. I do not know what is the real advantage in 3G other than video call and fast data transfering.
EDGE and GPRS are there in all the three.
Price wise k550 and k530 are pretty much same; ( around 7500) and 5310 is 8800.
Guys, please tell me which is good?
I see that the HTC Touch Diamond was launched today. Any pricing info for India yet? Looksto be very nice and specs are decent. Hopefully they addressed the slow UI.
The specs for Htc touch diamond really looks good! I'm sure this is gonna be placed above 25k

wrong it was launched 2 days back :D
http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/820817-post3064.html should be available by June/July here is Asia. Price no idea, hopefully within close range of current touch.
And a correction, from my side, it has stylus afterall. A neat one at that, wake's up the phone when you release the stylus and also has magnetic tip for some nifty functions ;)
