Since you dont want a phone thats smarter than you I wont recommend any of the smartphones, though I personally feel they offer more bang for buck than all the other 'walkman phones' and 'camera phones' or 'pda phones'....the O2 XDA Atom is supposed to be a terrific product (I havent seen it yet) with a 2 mp camera with flash, media player, FM Radio, WiFi, Bluetooth, Microsoft mobile office and everything else you can ask for in a phone - all rolled into a tiny unit.

I am leaning more n more towards the w800i, except that its a bit too... "orangey".

I was talking to an airtel person some time back and he said airtel recommends nokia handsets for its sim cards coz nokia displays the airtel logo. :WTF:

Crap! They must be having some sort of a tie-up. I'd say k750i + a 512MB memory stick if you don't like the orange color of w800i.

Arre bhai more bang for the buck is ok if you want to hear that bang. I mean, i probably wont be using all the extra features that will come in a smartphone, over a normal cellphone. So even though i may get a lot more by putting in a little more, but then most of it will go waste if i dont use it. right kya?

wow.. 4 years with 3310... Thts amazing loyalty, satisfaction , patience and perseverance... I got tired with my E398 in one year and am looking forward to upgrading it ... Hope u get ur V3i soon...

Dude, think abt the company..if ppl stick to phones that long..they wont make profits ;)...

I have siemens s65 with 1.3 mp camera. Way better product than the 7610 even though nokia is a smarhpone and siemens is not.

My other phone is going to be the motorila e680i soon. Ordered it already. Now waiting for the stereo bluetooth headphones and 2gig memory card.

have a SE t630 in INdia.

Navin, you'll have some waiting to do....as I understand Nokia has postponed the launch of their other N series phones on account of 'unresolved issues'.

Maybe the hard disk wasnt such a great idea after all...especially when SD cards of similar capacity are available in the market today.
