Thanks. What is the outgoing server ? Can you please check your settings again? Since mailbox type is IMAP, Incoming server can't be pop.
Also, did you subscribe to Nokia messaging and add yahoo mail in it?

Check and see what access point is being defined for use. I am not sure about BSNL 3G, am on Aircel, and I got a Aircel - GPRS access point when my GPRS was activated.

Thanks Phoenix. It doesn't seem to be working either. Did you register your yahoo account in
Nokia messaging?
Nope, I did not register it in Nokia Messaging. What does Nokia Messaging exactly do?

Nokia Messaging allows you to use a single application to access multiple email accounts simultaneously.

Can anybody post their user experience about the Jet? The user reviews available on the web are not encouraging. There are many reviews stating that the Jet suffers from general reliability issues. And also that it's software is unstable. |
Hi Aman, my sister is using this for a while now, most of the time she does photo click and listening to music. For these two no issues at all. I put 8GB card in that, but frankly the hold is not that firm. It keep on loosing the grip off and on. But it has indicator for card, so you can make out and readjust that.
Youtube doesn't work most of the time even on wifi, I use iphone 2g and Jet on same network for same video, but Jet most of time failed to show up complete video or I would say it doesn't show at all after error. But Iphone doesn't give that problem.
I have enable route 66 (a hidden thing in India model) navigation, but never tried it.
Software as such didn't have any issues whatsoever.
Let me know if you need to know anything else.

Thanks mate. Nokia Messaging is just what I thought, and I am not comfortable giving out my password to a third-party, even if it is Nokia :)

Is Nokia Messaging server having some problems since yesterday?
I was getting mails pushed till last evening. Suddenly from around 10 pm onwards, the service has been down. It gives me a message "Your Credentials could not be verified" or "Your credentials have expired".
I tried ALL possible passwords, but it just doesnt log me on my phone. What seems to be the problem?
As a last resort, I deleted my Nokia Messaging account on the website (email.nokia.com) and created a new account. However, the same problem still exists. It just REFUSES to accept my password!
Funnily, this problem has cropped up 3-4 days after I upgraded the firmware of my E71 to 410.21.010. And that was PURELY because the changelog mentioned "Improved Nokia Messaging". Talk about bugs!!
What is the way to downgrade to the earlier firmware? Or is there SOME way that I can get back my Nokia Messaging mails?

Is the c3 is just brilliantly priced ! Is it available in the market already?
Could someone please explain the difference between the BB mail service and Nokia Push mail service?
Do carriers have a basic plan like the BB299 for the Nokia ?
Nokia Xpress music phone had issues when launched, ex 5800, 6300, etc! Also price drop a lot after 6 months of launch.
C6 being already priced 13K its difficult to imagine to price to still drop. By IMO i would still drop.
The image nokia has created due to initial issues with phones, i would rather wait and watch.

This should explain all

Basically, there is no separate data plan (aka BB plan) that you need for using Nokia Messaging. It works on any 'advanced' GPRS plan (i.e. Vodafone Mobile Connect).
I use it on VMC 199 plan and it works beautifully. Pulls very little data since it works on IMAP idle protocol.
Hi guys wanted help to unlock a motorola q9h.its brought from US on AT&T.When you put a SIM in it ,the following message is displayed

This phone can only be used with SIMs from specific networks. Contact your customer service center for the unlock code or insert a SIM from a valid network.
Please let your ideas flow
Used the Samsung Omnia II last day. It is wider, very taller and thinner than my 5800. It has the same OS, almost. It has a nice screen. It was faster when accessing some application but has painful delay now and then.
