SamSung S5620 Monte. This one seems to be better featured when compare to Nokia 5230 .This one has Wi-Fi ,3.15 mega pixel ,Turn to mute, Smart unlock, internal memory 200MB vs Nokia 70MB ( refer GSM Arena). price is just under 9K.
Has any one been using this. Looking for users input .Thanks.
@shapath --> Nokia 5230 is most importantly a smartphone and also comes with 3g and GPS, a no brainer when compared to Samsung.
yeah. But samsung (also) has Wi-Fi, GPS receiver with A-GPS. since i have not used samsung i would like to know the functionality aspect of this samsung .Gsm says "Samsung S5620 Monte is a couple of notches higher than the most popular entry-level touch phones of the day with its 3G and GPS".
Between nokia 5230 and this samsung i would like to pick the best since i donot favour anyone in particular
Guys, i am at present having a MOTO L9 and was thinking to upgrade. Now i would require a clarification.
Whether to go for a GPS enabled mobile phone or a car mounted GPS device like GARMIN etc. Also, i think GPS mobile phone might be cheaper when compared to the GPS navigation device.
Please throw some light and clarify my doubt on the above matter.

Just go for Nokia N97 Mini or 5800 xpress music. The GPS service provided by Nokia on these two devices is very good. Also N97 Mini now comes with a vacuum pad and holder for using the phone as a GPS device.clap:

USB is a master slave protocol. As per USB protocol the USB host controller ( built in to PC or other device ) must supply 5V DC power at max 500mA current.
The USB host controller has to be a type A that is it should be able to supply this power. Your phone is a slave or USB Type B device ( every phone /camera/ printer is typeB).
USB connector is 4 pin the outer 2 pin are for positive and Ground and middle two are for the serial data.
So in nutshell when you will connect to PC it will also charge the phone.
Those who are planning for the 5800 - note that it does not have a compass built-in. I was looking up the Wikitude app, and apparently it wont work on a phone without a compass. Not sure what other apps / functionality required the compass.
@ amitk26: yes buddy, it my mistake. as i have mentioned below, i later realized that. sorry.

Hey, I too have an E72.
When I cross checked from Nokia's Indian site no such update was indicated.
My E72's Product Code is 0591952.
What gives?
