Avoid it.
There are some very serious concerns with regards to Call dropping on this phone and abysmal battery life.
I would say Lenovo K3 Note would be a better bet, its cheaper than this as well and better in specs. |
I am using Zenfone 2 4GB RAM version for past 2 months and there is absolutely NO call dropping issue so far.
ZenUI that come with the phone is too good as well. I would give this phone a :thumbs up

Using Zenfone 2 RAM-4GB Storage-32GB model for past 2 months and i am completely satisfied with the phone.
- No heating issues. Quick charging is really good.
- Camera is pretty decent
- ZenUI is a welcome change, a good alternative to stock UI
- Asus is good with upgrades/patch release
- Batter holds for 36-48 hours with average use
- Asus Cover is really good. it adds style to the phone.
- However, this phone design is not a stunner. Its average.
- Absolutely FAST. Multitasking, gaming, muti tabs in chrome - nothing slows the phone down.
Overall, I believe its definitely a good buy.
I'm planning to upgrade my Note 2.
Next upgrade should be 4G - Preferably Dual SIM and if both are 4G then good.
Good quality Camera with best image quality.
NFC
WiFi Dual Band
Lots of Storage
Preferably running Snapdragon CHIP rather than Mediatek (as I've not heard about these)
Please suggest some best models.
Regards
Rakesh
I own the samsung galaxy A7. Comes with 2GB RAM Octa-core processor and android 4.4. Paid 24.7K on purchase from e-Zone
Pros
- Looks good
- Nice full HD s-AMOLED display
- Great for reading or playing with its 5.5 inch screen
Cons
- Feel it gets heated up a tad bit

It is an excellent phone. The camera is outstanding (far better than the 1+ or the HTC 13 mp 816/820 series) and the phone is quite responsive.
The only challenge which prevented me from buying it was the size. If you're okay with it, go ahead - its a lovely device actually. |
Thank You for the brief review. Picked up the Orange 640XL. Loving it so far.clap:
Can anyone suggest a phone for around 20k.
My wife's Xperia display has broken & looking for a new Android phone.
Oneplus one in being replaced or else would have bought that.
Mainly need memory and good camera.

You could look at the Zenfone 2, its got a decent camera or you could wait for the OnePlus 2 which would be launched at 25k.

MI4. Sis's Xperia L just died so she got it, and is thrilled to bits with the phone.
only con - no 4G AFAIK.
camera of MI4 >> 1+1.
I think I will get Mi4 64 gb only. Wifey earlier had xiaomi mi3 and was loving it till the sim tray broke off.
One Plus 2 is launching soon I guess. By invitation only though. The price seems nice as there's not much deviation. The only better part I could make out so far is the 4GB ram from 3GB in One Plus 1. Any more details?? The front cam seemed to be 5 MP; could've been 8 MP going by the latest standard.
Read a review & looks like it's an impressive product.

I would wait for more real-world reviews. We bought OPO in India on Day1 but the camera is about half as fast as iPhone, and even slower in low light. The photos in low light are far grainier as well. That's its only achilles heel. Hopefully with OIS it should be much nicer.
The wife doesn't let me put Pro Capture on it so can't say whether its app or HW issue. Suffice to say everytime she wears an expensive dress, she takes out the iPhone 6, not the OPO.
IMHO for shooting my kid, the S3 (with ProCapture) was actually far nicer than OPO or HTC Desire 820s, both 13 MP cameras.
I need a temporary replacement for my Nexus 5 which will be away for upto 4 weeks for a replacement. I was looking at the Redmi note 4G which was selling for 7999₹ . it seems out of stock everywhere now. Is there any other phone that is reliable at around 10000₹ . I need good battery life and a reasonably fast phone. Not too picky about the camera as the Nexus has an average camera too.
Try the Lenovo K3 Note. My neighbor got it and I tried it out. It was quite snappy and he mentioned that the battery backup was quite good as well.

The Lumia 640 is a very capable phone. Available now for 9k (extra 10% off if you use a Citibank card).
Great battery life, good camera and quite fast. Just that it's not an Android, it's a Windows phone.

How easy is it migrate to a windows phone. Can I transfer my Google contacts easily? Are there the usual apps ?
