But it is not a high-priced Samblung or Arple phone. So it must be a pathetic phone actually * |

if you followed the Google I/O they were constantly mentioning Limburger in small minute reference. So my guess is on that. |

I think its the biggest selling premium phone in China. Its just that their business model is totally different. So I am hoping for a much better reliability. More importantly, I hope it brings some amount of sanity to mobile phone pricing by letting OEMs relook at their pricing policies and business models. |

No, it is pirate[s]. I suspect you might be thinking of privateers! |

Did not get your context of the two links. Here is the CNET review of MI3. http://www.cnet.com/products/xiaomi-mi-3/ For its price, I think its a quite a product. |

I don't think so! Because, I have airtel 3G connection on my tab and app worked fine with 3G. However it did not work when I switched over to BSNL broadband. The last update to the app (ver 5.7.41) was on 1st July, 2014 and it was fine till day before yesterday. Suddenly started getting this error this morning with BSNL but when switched over to airtel, it was working fine! |

... ... ... Oh yes! It is indeed pirates. Pirateering is an actual verb - though not sure it can be used in this case. Thanks! We'll move this discussion to the ![]() |

My context is that the phone is beautiful, stable BUT it is not as responsive as Apple / Samsung Note 3 etc. So the outright blazing responsiveness / snappiness you'd expect from a snapdragon isnt really there - within each app, things fly well. The CNet review talks about the visual appeal and is totally silent about the responsiveness. THAT was where I was really disappointed with the MI3. |

I suppose it has got something to do with the software. It simply may not be as fine tuned as what you get from the other mainstream manufacturers, I'm just guessing here. |
