Saw this article in NDTV: SOme apps on IOs and Playstore available at a lower price. I found Swype keyboard to be a great VFM at this price. It was VFM earlier too, but now more so at Rs.60.

Is it serious? Lovely phone though.

Just install CM 11 over MIUI. Though not supported by CyanogenMod officially, ROM is quite stable and I am loving it. And no worry of privacy issues!

hey do u have an invite ? when does it expire ? they don't deliver to india so the only way is to have it delivered some where in the US or Europe and have some one get it back right ?

Some photos of cynogenmod 11 on my Redmi 1s. Both sims are enabled and good for daily use. No crashes since inception! And back cover heating has reduced to a great extent!

Interesting stuff friends.

What was the issue with the MIUI that made you folks want to switch? Its quite decent eye candy and is quite responsive as well. CM is normally too plain jane for my taste.
