Thankfully not me, so far. The main issue I have faced was whatsapp calls going on mute the moment I stop using the keyboard. It was fixed by going to settings > device care > battery > turning off sleep for whatsapp under battery management.

Ditto here. Prebooked S10 lite on FK. |
Me too in "Prism Black". clap:
After ICICI credit card discount, price difference between OP7 and S10Lite was negligible. Also, on a long thought process, I realized, in my 2.3 years of ownership of my current phone, I have never really noticed its body thanks to the Spigen cover. Which means, I can manage with the plastic cover of S10Lite, all I need another Spigen bumper case.
Dropped OP7T due to several reason, mostly
- Didn't find any wow factor over my wife' existing OP6
- 90Hz screen was useless as I don't game
- Somehow not able to digest any of the colors, a pure black might have done the tricks there.
Come February 5th, I wish Samsung lives up to my expectations. Finger crossed.
Got my S10 lite today. Quite happy, but it is the kids who will be using it. Haven't got a SIM yet. Since I have a BSNL and wife Airtel, feel like going for Jio (for data and VoLTE). Will be couple of days more before I can get around to getting it.
Photos in good light look good, zoom is awesome and stable. The interface is snappy, and bloatware unremoveable/ non-disableable. Lol.
Hello.
Requesting suggestions - if budget is not a constraint, which is the best among the following -
1. IPhone XR 128 GB
2. One Plus 7 Pro series (256 GB)
3. Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite
I don't do gaming. I don't watch movies on a cell phone, but lot of You Tube.
Have never used an IPhone before.
1. Need dual sim
2. Three corporate email accounts with auto sync.
3. WhatsApp
4. Casual browsing
5. Need accurate GPS and Maps functionality.
Thanks
If maps app will be the one from Google, you are better off sticking to Android. Most Samsung phones come with Outlook and MS Word, Excel etc. pre-installed.
I'm not going to recommend a specific Android model right now because I have not used OP. I'm on Samsung with A8+ and M30 already in the family, and latest addition being S10 Lite. Yet to get a SIM for it, so will get back in a couple of days.
Have felt OP phones to be bigger and bulkier - but better display - from spec sheets. YMMV though.

Not an ideal recommendation in the Android thread; I don't know much about One Plus, but between the other two I would say go with the iPhone XR. The XR is indeed one of the best from Apple in the recent times.
Just asking - What are the differences [if any in usability and feel] between a One Plus 7T Pro and a One Plus 7 Pro.
On paper, there isn't much I believe, how is it while using?

The differences are -
1. Processor
2. OS shipped from factory
3. Threshold internal storage values (8 GB / 256 GB in 7T Pro vs. 6 GB / 128 GB in 7 Pro)
There may be more.
The 7 pro has Snapdragon 855 processor. 7T Pro has Snapdragon "855 plus" processor and - IT SEEMS and I'm not sure - curved screen.
Again, I understand that the OP phones use the electronic compass, which, to me, means GPS signals are needed to show directions. I may be wrong, but, as far as I can tell, in slow moving traffic and at turns, junctions and curves, the pointer on maps can get confused. You lose GPS accuracy in crucial situations. I repeat, I may be wrong, but I did not get any clarification about this e-compass.
So, I chose Samsung's geomagnetic compass. I am yet to use the GPS on my new S10 Lite. Got a Jio SIM, and things are quite as expected from a ₹ 36 k phone. In call Voice quality is good (Jio to BSNL) and the ringer is loud enough.

Yes, it's curved.
One more difference between the 7 Pro and 7T Pro is Warp Charge 30T.
I had been to the One Plus store today.
Apart from the 3000/- Cash Back offer on SBI Credit Cards, they are also giving away One Plus Bullets Wireless 2.0 with the One Plus 7T Pro.
Spent a good 15-20 min with the display piece and felt good.
Will check out IPhone XR tomorrow.
Better-half already has the 7T. So, I am not getting the same model. It's either the 7T Pro, IPhone XR or Samsung S10 Lite (need to see if it's available offline in Samsung stores / Croma / Reliance Digital).
Just spent close to an hour with the LG G8X.
I am almost sold on it, barring just one question I don't have an answer to!!
Software Updates?
It's currently running Android 9
LG G8X | Dual Screen (Aurora Black, Dual OLED Screens)

It now has to be between the One Plus 7T Pro and LG G8X

In my experience, LG is extremely poor with software updates, or its rather nonexistent.

If it is android, you are better of choosing between One plus or Samsung. Oneplus will provide 3 major updates from the launch OS and Samsung will provide 2 major updates. Update history of all the other players is sketchy. MI and Oneplus cousins fare better than the other international players like Lg,Asus, Moto etc.

Been on the LG flagship train for a few years now. Lovely hardware let down by pathetic software updates :( Wish they would release regular security updates at least.
Thanks everyone for your inputs.
I will go with the One Plus 7T Pro.
Temptation to get the Dual Screen LG is too hard to resist, however, lack of updates and UFS 2.1 are enough of a deal breaker for me.
Kudos to LG for this innovation and including EVERYTHING in the retail box pack.
For those who are interested, LG is also bundling a 24" LED TV along with this phone. Offer ends Feb 15.
The One Plus 7T Pro will cost INR 41K after all offers and exchange of my existing Redmi Note 7 Pro.
The LG costs INR 43K in Reliance Digital after all offers and exchange of my existing device.
Apart from the software updates\' advantage, One Plus gives 2 GB of extra RAM and additional 128 GB of inbuilt memory, plus everything else big & small in INR 2000/- less.
