Do check out Sony Xperia Tipo. Its priced at around 9.6k and has ics out of the box and also has a decent 1500 mah battery unlike most phones in that range.

I am still not getting any update notification when I connect my Galaxy S2 to Kies through USB. Is there any additional setting we need to do from phone or Kies to access this update?

Both the stock browser as well as Chrome are pathetic apps. Try Doplhin and you wont ever complain! It's the best Android browser I've used. Opera Mini is great too!

Avoid One S. The Indian version is poorly specc'ed and in fact the HTc india Website itself carries all negative reviews. In the same price band, look for Moto Razr.

You will have to first upgrade Kies to the latest version first, then it will give you the upgrade notification.
Has Samsung India released the official Jellybean update for S3 in India??

Solve this query for me!
1. I have an office laptop that detects my mobile and its contents however I can not play any of the audio/video files present on the phone (office policies)
2. I can move/update/delete the files on the phone and transfer between the laptop and the mobile, but that's all I can do with it.
3. Simply on a trial basis, without any need, say if I have some audio/video files on my laptop (or on a usb connected to the laptop), is there any software that I can install on my mobile that allows me to access these files when the mobile is connected to the laptop via the usb cord.
4. The same can be done via WLAN, which is not available at office, which brings back to the query as above.
I repeat, there is no actual underlying need for this query - simply one day I started doing TP on this aspect, however I couldn't find any solution. Please do give your suggestions :)

This is nova launcher with my blend of widgets and icons nothing else.
Just updated my Galaxy S2 to 4.0.4 using Kies. It didn't give any trouble like last time.Lets see how things improve now.
I bought a new Galaxy S3 and am now facing this issue where I can send sms but cannot receive any sms. Any thoughts on what could be the problem? So far, I have tried the following, went to messaging settings and enabled auto retrieval and I also tried specifying the MMSC server settings based on suggestions on other andriod forums but nothing seems to be working.
