@ Makesh: Whichever car you buy remeber to keep about 50K budget for getting things fixed to your satisfaction.

My personal choice will be the Palio 1.6 though.

Great choice! I bought a GTX 10 months back and that was the best choice i've ever made. It's a very powerful car with great handling, any driving enthusiasts will fall in love on first ride.

Hola!

When started the search for the Perfect Gtx, I found it very difficult to get a good one. but there are good Siena/Petra/Adventure, so folks please comment on the same.

Is getting a siena/Petra/Adventure (with 1.6) as good as Gtx or is there a diff?

Cheers,

Makesh.

Power to weight ratio. The GTX would outdo the others in this front. Gurus, awaiting your comments.

Mine might be up for sale.

After I test drive the CRUZE missile my GTX which is registered in Cochin,Kerala might be up for sale for 1.80lakhs non negotiable. If you want to know about my vehicle you could talk to Mahesh Natarajan of Coimbatore from the Palio Users Group. I go by the name pullockaran in that group.

It is GTX, no doubt

Hi Makesh,
I would say go for GTX for its superior safety. All other things seem to be evenly matched between an Ikon 1.6 and the GTX. As beejay said, it doesn't need a poll!

Hi Doc, No hard feelings but the price is a bit over on what I can offer, but thanks for the offer, I really appreciate it.

Hi trravindran, seems its winning unanimously!

I had GTX (second hand) for 1 year, amazing power, great handling. There is no other better hatchback for highway drive. I had to sell because of poor fuel economy. I had to get 8-9 kmpl in city, 12 in highway.

Hi Guys,

In a complete twist and turn of events (as did happen before me getting ANHC) I went ahead and booked RE Classic 500 Efi and I am the first person to be getting delivery in Coimbatore after launch, November 4th.

Thank you guys for all the suggestions, may be there is a delay but threre is going to be a 16V 100 in my life for sure.

Cheers,

Makesh.
