Anybody knows any really good Aircon specialists in or around Kothrud? Also, a dent/paint shop around this area would be very helpful (only if its really good!)

Need to get these things done on my Esteem... and Millenium Mobility (Dapodi), where I have been currently servicing my car quotes scary prices... am damn sure it can be done for much less elsewhere. But we have not had a good experience with denting/painting jobs in the past, so very afraid of unknown places.

Does anybody have any experience with Millenium Mobility?

Hi,
I am looking for Michelin Energy XM1+ 195/60R14 in Pune. One dealer quoted Rs.4350 per tyre. Is it a good deal or can you suggest me a good place where I can get it for less amount?

did you get the job done at Avanti@wagholi, he is now a Tata ASC, i visited him sometime back to get a quote for my vehicle, the quote was thru the roof and i was not very impressed with the false deco they have put up, lacked professionalism. though..I have heard that thier car clientle is pretty impresive

anyone from pune experienced with PDR "Paintless Dent Removal" using Dry Ice i have sourced the material but need to locate a seamless cylinder to withstand the gas pressure, would like to team-up with interested folks from Pune for this project

Also tell me the cost of servicing and what all things I should ask the service station to do.

Please avoid Sai Service and other Maruti stations.

Please suggest me what all I should do in the servicing and what will be the approx cost of each .

i know of a mechanic who is trust worthy, many of my friends get their cars serviced from him. His garage is near Vanaz on Paud Road. His name is Sachin Kadam and number is 9422084854.

Also, for the servicing to be done, it will depend on the odometer reading. Check your car manual if it covers the repairs @ your odometer km reading. I think normal servicing, with wheel alignment and balancing should cost around 1.5-2K, but it depends on your car condition.

I'm yet to find anyplace that really does the job well. I'm not happy with the way Millenium Mobility (Dapodi) has worked on my Esteem this time... though I guess its better than Sai, Chowgule, etc. Another thing I'v learnt is that its good to do individual jobs at different places, where you can get the job done in front of you... it can be cheaper too, compared to what MASS charges.

For wheel alignment and balancing you could try Lokmanya Tyres. Its in a lane perpendicular to Karve road. For alignment you will have to go to their place on Tilak Road. However, their machine isn't as advanced as the one Millenum has.

For car a/c job you could try Climate Engineers on Karve Road. Its near Vimlabai Garware college.

And 1.5 - 2 k is too high for routine servicing (I'm not factoring in the cost of engine oil as that varies widely). Whell alignment at the above place cost me around Rs. 250 (cant recall exact amount). Wheel balancing cost depends ont he gm of weights required. But you dont need to balance your wheer wheels everytime.

I think I should go for engine oil change,normal wash,wheel alignment.

What about brake oil change ?
I will not go for AC gas change etc since that I had done in last servicing and my car is not used much daily.

Me too needs help. I have a 1999 model Fiat Sienna. Need a good garage for regular servicing and also run-time jobs. Some one experienced and knowledgeable about Fiat cars.

Saurabh, i usally buy everything from one place. I think its called Modern. I am really bad with road names so bear with me

If you go down East Street, away from the one way section and towards where King Burger used to be (Or still is i dont know), you go all the way to the end (I think there's traffic lights there now) and take a left towards the Bus Station. Theres a Maruti Service centre on your left and this shop is just before that on your left too.

Hopefully i havent confused you too much

. But hes got most of the imported stuff there.

My Car Paint jobs are done only at Avanti. He is the best IMO. otherwise why would I send my cars all the way to Pune, when there are soo many denters/painters here in Mumbai. They are expensive, but its not a recurring job like a car service! specially for high end cars.
