Re: Do u hang or rest your foot

When on highways you need very few touches on the clutch so the left foot is on the floor. In traffic however while changing clutch my heels do touch the floor. I was told that the your heel should be the pivot point for clutch movement. It depends upon your seat adjustment too. If you are too close to the steering wheel operation clutch is easier but then you knees touch the dashboard and if you are too far from the steering wheel reaching the clutch is a problem. Driving with shoes is much better than driving in chappals or sandals

Re: Do u hang or rest your foot

My foot is in the air only while the clutch is being released or being pressed. Once its fully pressed, my heel is back on the floor; and as soon as fully released, I keep my left foot so the toe is just touching the dead pedal.

I have size 10 feet, and there is no way I can press the clutch with heel on floor, the toe will run out of force by the time the pedal gets halfway, unless you drag your heel forward which will damage the floor/carpet over time.
