Its time I started to save some serious money. That car looks fantastic!
Nice catch! Although I am a BMW loyalist, I must say that the Q3 is simply amazing clap:. BMW should have anticipated something from Audi while designing the X1 because it doesn't have the presence of the Q3. However, for sheer driving pleasure, the X1 it is :D
When it comes to the X1, I think it's a pretty good looking car in pictures but in person some proportions don't exactly look so pleasing, have driven it loads of times and never really been impressed by it besides the panoramic roof of the high line variant.
Beating the X1 should be quite easy for anyone, and the Q3 does look like something with the right proportions, but lets wait for it's entry into India along with the entire set of competition from Land Rover and Mercedes-Benz too, until then the X1 enjoys the first comer advantage, and while it builds a lead by the time the others come in BMW India will definitely upgrade the specs and perhaps add xDrive? And also the Xdrive23d model might come in.
And in this segment pricing will be a big factor, so lets wait how all come in and at what price points cannot wait for a similar war in the premium hatchbacks!

On the sidenote, when the q3 was officially launched for the first time, it got a huge standing ovation from all the automakers.
The rear looks so much better and futuristic, but not in an odd way.

Hi Guys, spotted this beauty on the western express highway whilst coming to work. Its a fantastic car & a very good alternative to the X1, however pricing will as usual will be crucial. The Q3 looks fab from the sides & I loved the alloys...
Hey just noticed that there seem to be at least 2 test mules doing the rounds in the city... Must be the Petrol & Diesel variants or 2 different variants for sure.
Thats the one benefit of Mumbai traffic, you can take pics while your driving....by the way the back for some reason reminds me of iron mans mask...

I personally prefer the looks of the X1 to this. But, thats just my opinion!:)

Oh there most definitely are atleast a couple of them doing the rounds across Mumbai. Last evening spotted a blue 1 on the highway going towards the Borivali side and half an hour post that, spotted another blue one coming from the opposite direction at the Shopper's Stop junction on S.V Road, Andheri West. No way in hell could the en-route borivali Q3 land up here, and that too in the opposite direction THAT fast at THAT hour ! :D
So yea, surely 2 at least. If there was 1 spotted at SO-BO at around the same time then that makes it 3.

This is exactly the same car I saw last evening at Chakala. Fleeting impression is that it looks bigger than the X1 and not much smaller than the Q5. The implementation of DRL is stunning. Just hope that its priced sensibly, Audi be prepared to laugh you way to the bank.
Wow! If the price is right aka 25L to 30L...Then nothing compares to this beauty. An affordable Badged SUV I say. Even if it touches a little over 25L even folks considering the Fortuner will have a go at the Q3 for sure. This is definitely worth the wait as I was planning on a Superb TDI by December. Lets wait...!!! clap:
