Breaking News: Facelifted Verito launching Tomorrow (26th July)

To be callled as Verito Refresh

New Features:
1. Chrome plated front grille,
2. The front fascia of the Verito is changed from a boxy to a rounder look.
3. New eyebrow headlights
4. New alloy wheel design.
5. Fog lamp is stylish and new Roof rails and blackened pillars
6. Rear has changed massively with a new sculpted boot lid
7. Clear lens tail lamps are new
8. Rear chrome applique is crisp
9. Lip spoiler pumps up the sportiness quotient – purely from a visual enhancement perspective

Mahindra Verito Refresh launches on July 26; Brochure leaked

Chrome plated front grille, which is largely influenced by Kia’s front grille design
The front fascia of the Verito is changed from a boxy to a rounder look, and appears very convincing.
New eyebrow headlights
New alloy wheel design
Fog lamp is stylish and new
Roof rails and blackened pillars add some panache to the otherwise plain side profile
Rear has changed massively with a new sculpted boot lid
Clear lens tail lamps are new
Rear chrome applique is crisp
Lip spoiler pumps up the sportiness quotient – purely from a visual enhancement perspective

Grab and door handles are new
Head restraints
All-new upholstery
Two-tone instrument panel
Driver information system which gives the usual data with respect to fuel and distance
2 DIN music system with CD/MP3/AUX/USB
New center console that houses Variometric AC with ergonomic controls
Hope mahindra price it reasonably.

Looks like its going to sell like hot cakes. Any idea which is the standard 2-din HU Mahindra uses? The ones on Bolero etc were pathetic, last time I checked.

Yes & they have uploaded the Refresh Verito brochure as well on their site. Attaching it below for quick reference. Unfortunately the prices are not yet up on their website. What time is it going to be launched. Probably prices will be updated after the official launch.

I did not understand why only the cosmetic upgrade.
Verito is a capable car with excellent diesel engine.
Mahindra should provide ABS/AirBag as an option.
I believe that Mahindra only target the taxi market with this product.

Sales of the Verito has grown by 80% since 2010
It has the widest rear seat in its class
Verito still costs less than the Swift Dzire and Toyota Etios, the two main rivals

Engines:

1.4L petrol engine with 75hp@5,500rpm and 110Nm@3,000rpm
1.5L diesel mill with 65hp@4,000rpm and 160Nm@2,000rpm

As a Renault Logan owner, The changes look really nice and upmarket. I wish i had them in my car :-(

IMO opinion the output (in BHP) of both refreshed models could have been better as compared to earlier ones. But, I welcome the new looks & definitely M&M have done much better job than what Renault have managed in the past with Logan.

BHP figures are misleading. That engine has such good driveability- I never found power lacking while switching to a Verito from my Punto 90.
