Re: Scoop: Mazda CX-5 SUV spied testing

Awesome scoop! Glad to see that the Japanese auto giant has its eyes set on the Indian shore now. Mazda is quite popular in the middle east auto market; hope it has a dream debut here.

Re: Scoop: Mazda CX-5 SUV spied testing

It’s raining test cars in India, spotted the Chevroletsail hatchback and sedan earlier last month and now we have the Mazda CX-5 getting into attention of the spy photographers

It doesn't look like a test mule. The full road tax has been paid for 15 years for this vehicle as per information i got from govt vahan application.

I still have a strong belief its a test mule, since vahan application does not provide you information. how did you obtain it from govt vahan application.?

Yes, it is possible to get information of any vehicle through vahan application just by specifying registration number through SMS. It is not possible through online website where you need to specify chasis details also.

Re: Scoop: Mazda CX-5 SUV spied testing

Agree with our fellow bhpians, Mazda compact SUV will be a welcome addition to the existing mix of SUV's. As long as they are able to come with the bells and whistles in terms of equipment trims and if they are able to price it between 15 to 20L. In the event the above car is not a test drive vehicle, getting spares will be a night mare. India does not have a good distribution system online like US and Uk where you can get most of the parts online. We need to have the availability of the spares in the open market as well and have a strong service station network in the stand alone segment like the carnations etc.
