This car looks like the product of a one night stand between a matiz and a wagon R

Seriously, Maruti cant be serious about this one. Even f they change the front end, this car would be a direct competitor to the wagon-R.

Lets wait and see what happens

The soft Cute Ignis should be the one replacing ZEN.

It really would look of the same family.

Radical designs such as this one are not easily accepted in India..but its not that bad...and if Maruti comes out with a swift like fit and finish on the car...nothing like it....
but I seriously doubt, Maruti will introduce such a design in the country cos it shud know the Indian mindset the best.....

I agree with basilmabraham. Its somewhat similiar to Zen. And looks pretty better than the other wo versions.

New Zen next month

Autocar specifies a new zen, looking much like a wagon R, with lots more space for 4 people. for more see home page at www.autocarindia.com. To be priced at 3.5 lakh as direct competition to santro/spark.

Maruti is really really foolish to launch this... who will buy the WagonR now?? and how can a sporty handler like Zen be replaced by a Tall boy???

Whats wrong with MUL ? Come on guys.. I am mad for Zen, that too the new look zen is just awesome. Why do they need such bad looking models.. All models looks like Swift will not work out..

had a talk with zen dealer in Bangalore, he said, There is too much production in Bangalore so Zen is stopped.

next will be Wagon R with LPG & then May be Swift Diesel in line.

In Autocar it was specified that the new Zen will have the same wheel base as the Wagon R and also will use the same engine as Wagon R. In this scenario the Wagon R looks far better than the Zen.
