Believe they priced it variant to variant at par with the F30. Let's see if they offer similar equipment levels as well.

Re: BMW X1 facelift coming in on Valentines day

Just went through the spec sheet -

Sports line get sports seats for driver and passenger.
Sports line and Xline get Navigation professional and BMW apps.
No dakota leather, only imitation leather on all variants.
Specs remain similar otherwise.

Re: BMW X1 facelift coming in on Valentines day

The key difference seems to be the 8 speed gearbox. Need to see if its really worth the price hike. If you look at the discounts that were on offer on the outgoing model, this seems to be a substantial jump. I had got mine for 22L ex showroom last month.

So is there a base model still? The earlier base model did not have i-drive as well as the corona rings. Is it the same even now?

Also, do the specs mention servotronic steering?

ps: Can you upload the specs here, please.

Well, the so-called base model looks pretty loaded, except for a few missing comfort features.

And yes, the spec sheet do mention about servotronic steering and 8-speed gear box

Spec. sheet screenshots below (not able to upload the .pdf due to the 3MB limit)

Specsheet seems to be too large to upload here -

Yes servotronic is there, I had mentioned that in an earlier post.

The base model is still there, without xenons. Don't know about the corona rings though.

The specsheet seems to be on the BMW website now, check it out.

Re: BMW X1 facelift coming in on Valentines day

There were MASSIVE discounts on the outgoing X1. Can we expect some to carry on with the face-lifted model?
The discounts made it nice and affordable , but the steering was just too hard to make the X1 a practical choice. With the new servotronic, X1 should definitely be much easier to live with!

No there won't be any corona rings. No BMW comes with Corona Rings on halogen lamps.

But are the corona rings on higher variants LED like the F30 and F10?

Re: BMW X1 facelift coming in on Valentines day

Does the price include service, Secure Advanced is mentioned as part of the feature list. What does this cover, any BMW owner to explains this?

The base version including service at 28 ex-showroom seems like a good deal.

No, the ex-showroom price listed doesn't include secure or service. The spec sheet is to be interpreted as "you can buy secure on this car at an extra cost"

Not sure about the roadside assistance.

Discounts were there to clear the massive stock of X1s that they had. The new one will have very tiny discounts if at all. Though if you go for pre facelift there will be even bigger discounts than earlier.

Beg to differ, the E90 used to come with coronas on halogen lamps. I've seen some special EPCG imports of a stripped down 5 series with halogens and LED coronas.

The coronas on higher variants are LED just like the F10 and F30.

The ex showroom price doesn't include service packages and secure. Secure is basically an insurance top up, it covers the part the owner would have to pay in case of an insurance claim. Basically the amount that the insurance doesn't cover. You just pay a processing fee of 1500 or so. It also covers 4 tyre replacements a year free.

But if you buy zero dep insurance, its almost as good as secure besides the tyre coverage.

All the E90 Corona rings I have seen, there were non-LED corona rings only with projector lamps. I have not seen any of the halogen(non projector) equipped BMW with corona rings.

E90s had coronas with reflectors too, but non LED like you said. I've seen 520d's with projectors, and halogens but with LED coronas.
