Re: Force One launches newer variants

I think at the same cost we have many options , the best of this car is the engine. Otherwise the body looks very bad , headlights , tail lights etc the fit and finish is very poor . Even for taxi segment I think it is difficult . Force motors has a very poor after sales support .other than Maharashtra their network is very poor . Their new MUV is better than force one , but still a old body style . Good network with wise pricing may help .

Re: Force One launches newer variants

Here is the link to OD's first drive report of the Force One SX:

http://overdrive.in/reviews/2013-for...x-first-drive/

Quote:
Excerpts:
1. The engine is tractable with good low-down grunt that comes in at just 1400rpm... clutch pedal action is on the heavy side.
2. The gear throws are not quite as long as the Force Gurkha though the shift action requires a firm shove to slot it in or else it hops out of gear.
3. The steering is light and quite precise.
4. Ride quality is also good with small potholes and speed bumps being taken in stride and very little felt in the cabin, but it does get a little unsettled over larger bumps.
5. The cabin is a noisy place, & quality and fit and finish of the interiors are also not great and the hard-touch plastics are not well put together.

Re: Force One launches newer variants

The F1 sure sounds good on paper. I have seen one on the road in Delhi till date. Well, it looks even more massive than it actually is, that's a minus point in my opinion. Second, at this price point, I feel the ARIA is a better option in terms of ergonomics (except the second captain seat row) and quality of materials.

Electrical problems can be a show stopper in vehicles of this generation as most components are running on sensors and control units (electronic stuff with software controls). The problems with the lamps and other electricals of the XUV are a good example, although not resulting in VOR (vehicle off road).

I guess it is a wait and watch for this one - the service network ultimately killd the FIAT Lines and the Punto (and the Palio) which are great products by themselves. The same argument about commercial to personal shift for a manufacturer holds good for Force Motors as with TATA initially.

Re: Force One launches newer variants

I think the battle is between Force 1 and Isuzu MUV7 when it comes to the size and price of there two vehicles.
