However being a little impatient can you at least share a few lines on very very initial impressions you got about the ZEST ..PLEAAASSSEEE

@Madhu33 -The zest is winner all the way.. from all the tweets and updates on the social media.. its all positive no negatives even by people who have this issue with TATA!

I for one am booking one asap now since i have the Manza Diesel maybe i will opt for the petrol this time around, the zest looks wow..no doubt about that..years ahead of the amaze and it's competitors.

I don't think so. A demo of how Revotron behaves, the 3 modes, was there the last weekend in Forum Koramangala. If you are interested, please go to their website, a schedule is available there for this demo thing.

re: On the Tata Bolt Hatchback

An article in IAB suggests that the ground clearance of petrol and diesel (AMT) versions of Zest are 175 mm and 165 mm respectively. No clue why the ground clearance should be different.

Also, going by the 2 variants of Zest we have seen so far, it looks like Tata will launch 8 variants of Zest

Petrol
XB - Base, with Revotron bagde
XM - Mid, with Revotron bagde
XT - Top, with Revotron bagde

Diesel
XB - Base, with Quadrajet badge
XM - Mid, with Quadrajet badge
XMA - Mid AMT, with F-Tronic badge
XT - Top, with Quadrajet badge
XTA - Top AMT, with F-Tronic badge

Fully agree and I am 100% satisfied with the reviews in Team BHP. Keep up the great work!

If they give ABS and 2 airbags in tge mid, XM trim, of course a music system would be there, it would be the best buy IMO. I am looking at a QJD XMA as new car for my parents then, as more luxury features are of no real use for them.

The zigwheels review of Tata Zest is out, seems to be the first one to publish the review. As expected the impressions are pretty positive.

Not able to edit my previous post, so a back to back post. Sharing one more review on the Tata Zest Revotron by Motoroids.

Thanks for the links. Frankly speaking I was not so impressed by the level of details in this review. It would be better to wait for the official T-BHP review. Nothing beats the official reviews here! They are well worth every minute of the wait!

Was going through first page of motoroids review before it was also taken off.
First impression looks like Tata have a winner.

re: On the Tata Bolt Hatchback

Just saw these 2 photos on Rushlane and I see 2 ways to interpret what it shows..

Photo 1: Note the in-car entertainment screen does not look like the 5" touch screen system. Also, the a/c controls are not automatic. So, does this mean AMT will also come with lower than topend variants of the Zest? If yes, great news.

Photo 2: This picture shows an automatic climate control with Manual gearbox. Does this mean that top end variant 'also' comes with a manual gearbox or top end variant only comes with manual.

Both photos are confusing, I know i may be reading in too early but I'm keenly awaiting a top end zest diesel with AMT.. Patiently waiting for TBHP review.
