Team-BHP - Fiat @ Auto Expo 2016

Folks - Do we know any information on the Fiat-Tipo launch in India. Most of the auto-portals are claiming that, Tipo will be launched in October 2016. However the dealerships in Bangalore doesn't seems to be knowing anything about it. Tipo looks awesome, hope they launch the car soon.

Wonder where they are picking it from? The official plan as nikhil0405 has shared has no roadmap for the Linea replacement until 2017! People spread such rumors and we end up blaming the company for not launching.

Let's see if the urban cross and csuv hits the market before the end of 2016. If so, then we can positively see the Linea update (hopefully the Tipo) in 2017 :p

The urban cross is nothing but the avventura without the rear mounted wheel. If they are taking so long for its release, you know how long they will take for the csuv.

They are currently making money by just selling engines and seem to be content. I don't see that changing in the near future.

Because it is showing Cherokee launch late next year and as off now it's going to happen within few months from now.

The image shows the Cherokee and the Wrangler launch in 2015. They have been delayed due to various reasons including the falling INR value. What you are referring to might be the planned facelifts in 2017. So expect that to be pushed ahead as well.

There is inside news that the Tipo will hit Indian shores 2017 end. Fiat has plans to get Tipo to India as the Linea replacement but now they are working on the Jeep launch hence the Fiat range takes a back seat.
