A little birdie tells me that the expected OTR price for the Wrangler is going to be around 60 lacs INR. I don't want to believe this. Is this really going to be the case? Anyone else here has any news on the pricing?

That should be correct given the assessable value of past imports, something similar to Mustang. I won't be surprised if this 60 Lac finally becomes 65 -70 Lac. There is no way they can import and pay 200 % Duties and price it less than 60 Lac

I just watched the launch and the price for the Wrangler is 71 lacs ex showroom New Delhi. This has gone beyond every single price estimate given by Automotive portals here.

I, for one, am hugely disappointed.

Don't know what these guys are smoking! They have priced it beyond the already overpriced predictions!

SRT - INR 112,07,825/-
Summit - INR 103,39,919/-
Limited - INR 93,64,527/-

Even the Wrangler is way overpriced!

Wrangler - INR 71,59,104/-

Definitely something that's not good for FCA's health. Probably they didn't want the sales numbers to be higher than that of FIAT, say the Linea or someone must have told them, let's not give a chance for people to show a middle finger to us, let's use ours. Looks like Jeep India is dead even before it's born

The President of FCA India kept mentioning the words ' Indian Customer' during the launch. Well, the 'Indian Customer' is a rational buyer and compares the prices across segments and products.
