+1 Which ever version they choose, Tata should serious start to standardize on child parts. Last few days I have been on the headlamps of my Storme. With a dual barrel, both units have a dust cap. But both caps on the same headlamp are of different sizes. Stranger - the size is again completely different for the Manza/Vista, the nearest match. Let's not even consider the Indica's. While Even Maruti has this problem, why cant manufacturers think of such things when they are finalizing the design of these parts ? |

The detail design comes from the illumination systems manufacturer. As such, if business for two different models is awarded to different suppliers, standardization of child parts is not possible. As long as the targeted cost level is realised, it doesn't matter either. |

When you understand which parts I am refering to, none of the above will hold water. |
