How does this change affect servicing of Ciaz?
Will existing Ciaz owners have to pay additional service cost for NEXA experience? And what would happen for those cases where current maruti dealer doesn't have nexa dealership, will free services for those customers move to a different nexa dealer?
I am sure Maruti Suzuki would have taken steps to address these logistical situations (relatively smaller issues).

Maruti Suzuki announces the transfer of Ciaz to Nexa.

All nexa showrooms are organizing a Ciaz launch at 11:30 AM tomorrow April 1st. More details on pricing and the lack of additional features should be available then.

11:30 AM tomorrow will put an end to a lot of speculation.

On a lighter note, 1st April is probably not a day you would want to conduct a new launch. Not sure whether everyone will believe what is said during the launch event :D

Possible MSIL is having production constraints and they are de-prioritizing production of the non-best selling vehicles. I read in a separate thread where somebody booked a S-cross 1.6 mid Jan and is still waiting for his vehicle

I think MSIL is having great production constraints, other wise I don't see why they would shift the Ciaz to the NEXA from it's regular dealerships.

Let us wait for the 11:30 AM launch at Nexa showrooms tomorrow. If it is indeed the same old car with just badging changes, the Hyundai Verna 2017 impending launch should take the 2nd spot in sales post launch. The Honda City post facelift is likely to have a dream run against the same old Ciaz in a different showroom.

Anybody aware when the Verna 2017 is launching? That might dictate the timing of the Ciaz facelift as well

Last week when I went for creta test drive, the SA said Verna upgrade will come around diwali.

Thanks for the pics. High time, they removed the beige interior scheme and gave it a black treatment or at least grey. When would someone make these guys understand, beige doesnt necessarily equate to premiumness. :Frustrati

Abhi.

They already had a all black interior before in the name of RS moniker. I think it was discontinued. The model also sported body kits etc.

steering wheel is same as what we saw in the official review of Ciaz: http://www.team-bhp.com/carpics/Maru...ti-ciaz-01.jpg
No cruise control or any changes......

Verna in Diwali 2017 means some more breathing space for Suzuki to get some features into the Ciaz.
Honda will be the happiest with the Nexa Ciaz and Verna delay - They have the next 6-9 months for themselves!

I think beige is used to liven up things a bit. All black interiors may not go well with Indian summers. I just didn't like the Baleno interiors at all for this reason. But I'd say: to each his own.

Keeping the disappointments aside, the blue color looks good isn't it?

Don't the headlamps look different?

Looks like a smoked surround casing for the headlamps now, but everything else inside looks similar to the outgoing one.

100% Confirmed - no changes to Ciaz in nexa. Only addition of blue coloured Ciaz

Have asked for the price list and will share as soon as I receive it. Let us see if it moved with price rise or with the same price minus any exchange bonus and discounts that were on with Maruti Suzuki
