Super difficult choice between the Octavia and the Accord,

i chose the accord, just because i couldnt choose both....! and i guess the little bit of extra legroom. As for parking a big car in the city, if ur lucky enough to find a space for the octi im sure itd also be big enough for the accord......plus its fun hunting for supersized parking spaces (sometimes).

dippy, i know what you mean. i was a big fan of the forrester. mainly because somewhere underneath that quirky behind was an impreza. and i was all over it. then i test drove one. the gear shift was erratic. maybe it was just this car, but if it isn't i dont see subaru chalking up any wrc wins anymore. the interior was too plasticky, but might i add cheap plastic. not what id expect from a car when im paying 14 lakhs for it. also, for a car that puts out 125 bhp and has all time AWD, the best they could do is drum brakes behind. it handles very well, and takes the dirt very well too. but the cons just outweigh the pros.

Well, part of the reason i was put off by the Forester is that when we went to FortPoint for a test drive, the car they had was in bad shape. The interiors were stinking of sweat, the indash CD player had been ripped out and a huge hole was in its place and the drivers door felt like it had worn out the hinges already.

Now I'm no marketing person, but I wouldn't want a prospective customer of a 14L car taking his first drive in that. It just put me off straight away. When will these dealers wake up!!

Accord all the way. There is absolutely no choice in this matter. Black in Colour. Though would add on 17" Volk Racing Deep Dish Rims and the Mugen Add-on Body kit to give it a lower stance. Drop Dead Gorgeous are the only words that come to mind. Also would add the Philips Bi-Xenon kit.

Cmon man, give the Accord some competition.

The result says it all, the Accord without doubt is the choice of the masses. No Indian car is as complete as the Accord.

Power, fuel efficiency, reliabilty, safety, comfort, class....you name it and it's there.

Regards...

guess accord wins hand down...forrester is a good car too ..more lie a station wagon..but i kinda think people here dont appreciate the engineering i mean this is a true blooded rallying car and has great handling potentials...but hey we wanna still look good dont we???

suprising is city didnt won any votes...also guys accord is the most expensive car here..!!!

the CRV for me
its is an awesome suv with loads of space.
the accord looks ugly and skoda too cramped.
the forester is not my choice and the remainin suck.

it wud've been definitely the city if it were to be my 2nd car. the octavia's also a damn good car for the money. but in this particular context, i guess it has to be the accord for its good looks, nice and spacious interiors, gem of an engine and good overall dynamics. make mine black with skirts and 18" alloys.

I am pretty surprised that so many people chose the Skoda Octavia instead of the Accord. I guess that says a lot about the cars teutonic build quality!
